Clement is managing Danilo and Cantwell which is why Dessers and Lammers are playing. Once we have them and the likes of Lawrence back to full fitness, they'll be dumped to the bench.

It's always easier to listen to post match interviews after a victory but I thought that Tavernier spoke really well there.

I still think we are making the players look bad with Beales lack of experience and confusing system changes a good manager would get more from these players.

I struggle to think of a Rangers player in the past 20-30 years who has been better value for money given his transfer fee and return of service.  Tav has great, good, mediocre and poor games the same as any player the world over, that will never change.  I still think he’s been a great signing all things considered.

Friendlies are dugmeat, no matter who we play or where we play them. 

I agree we overthink it domestically. We all know teams are going to sit in against us. The only way we’ve been successful is playing high tempo attacking football. That is why celtic are successful against these teams. Yet for some reason we persist in slow sideways football, and get hit time after time on the counter or long balls into the box. We rave about possession but it is nothing without end product. We’ve been more  effective in Europe as teams push out and try to actively win games. Unless we have more movement and pace in our play teams will be laughing. Sit in and see what they can get against us.

Does anyone after 3 pre season games actually understand what our game plan is?
We now appear to play with no wingers and both our full backs dont overlap like they used to.
Having sat through tonight’s game it looks a mess - Pretty much summed up with our lack of attacking threat/shots on target etc
We still lack numbers in the box when we attack and there’s still a gap between midfield and the strikers in the ‘hole’ and a lack of linking play 
I get its pre season and that wasn’t our strongest starting 11 but the competitive action isn’t that far away and even the back up players should be following the tactics set out from management
