Wanted to share my only experience about Fernando  on here.
It was in 2005 when Rangers FC trained and played in Toronto in Canada. they played at the sky-dome in Toronto vs Dinamo Zagreb ( a young Luka Modric) was playing that day also. 
 
afterwards me 14 years old ran down to the makeshift tunnel entrance to land a few signatures and meet my idols. ( I really wanted to shake Barry Fergusons hand & Nacho Novo ( I did both by the way) & gave Nacho my scarf. 
 
I was star struck meeting our captain Mr Ferguson I adored him and idolized him. 
Novo was class shook my hand and gave me a hug and took my scarf. 
 
The guy beside me drops his scarf and who picks it up. Fernando does ! but he doesn't give it back he puts it on around his neck walks into the tunnel
I remember the guy beside me saying its a very special scarf to him and had it for years etc etc. few minutes later Fernando comes out with the scarf & the match worn shirt he gives both to the guy says hello and was just genuine. That memory has stuck with me since then. just wanted to share it in remembrance to him,  He was class !

Without a couple of quality players we will finish second this season and maybe win a cup.We aren’t good enough to stop them right now although they are rotten at the back but they still have a couple of players that make the difference that we don’t.

Going on how we’ve played so far this season you don’t need to be Nostradamus to realise that we will struggle more than them in breaking teams down and getting three points when needed.you can only ride your luck for so long.

They knew by punting the ball  out and the subsequent throw in for us it would go straight back to them deep in our area by closing and pressing us.and it worked as they thought it would .in the remaining 89 min we just couldn’t recover from it😝

If we can’t press and shut them down at all in the next 89 mins 50 secs coz they booted the kick off into the corner , shut the gates

How do you figure that out? They came out and dominated until their goal, after that they just sat back, wasted time, frustrated us and just completely controlled the game. We were woeful. Did we create anything at all?

That was hard to watch, right from the off we weren’t in this game and as other threads and posts have stated Gerrard got it all wrong from team selection and tactics.
Now we find ourselves playing catch-up already and and if we are going to win this league we desperately need a couple of quality players not mediocre loans,they aren’t that far in front of us but the difference is they have a couple of players that make the difference that we don’t have.
We can’t rely on other teams in this league as they are truly awful so it’s down to us and going on that performance I’m not hopeful,if we finish second again and they clinch nine The frustration will boil over and the board had better be prepared for it.

I've noticed this as well, it's crazy how many times we lose with 1 single mistake in a game yet I can't recall the last time we genuinely won a game with an error from the opposition akin to Goldson today or tavernier last season and certainly no big games

Was fucking Woeful today, even more so given he is our captain. 
My 11 year old son today made a comment about how you can tell a real captain by the way they step up and he didn't today.
