  1. I’ve not watched the game back but I don’t recall having many if any issues with Lennon since he turned pundit. Stewart is in another stratosphere when it comes to making impartial comments on Rangers.
  2. So frustrated with some of our play today it feels like a defeat but here we are still in the position to go top mid week. Got to be half full I think.
  3. If we beat them next week the atmosphere will be as good as any old firm has been at Ibrox and if god forbid it goes the wrong way I guarantee I’ll not be thinking its shite without them being there. Each to their own I suppose.
  4. Personally don’t want to see any of them at Ibrox but at the very least we shouldn’t except anything less than having the same percentage, not the same number of away fans. If that results in them having more empty seats as a result of segregation then that’s the way it has to be.
  5. Maybe the best outcome for Dublin but not the King’s 11
  6. It’s amazing how many people who normally leave early always manage to stay to the final whistle when we’re winning old firm games. Got to admire the sacrifices they make for the big games.
  7. Possibly make a couple of changes to protect the likes of Lawrence and Souttar knowing their struggles with injury.
  8. Interesting to see if Clement rotates the starting 11 again. I’d like to see him start with the same team that lined up against Hearts.
  9. How to showcase Scottish football and attract a wider audience. Show Livi v Motherwell and Ross County v St Mirren in the same week they could have shown Kilmarnock v Rangers and the Edinburgh derby. Its beyond logic.
  10. The starting 11 were superb, as good a performance as I’ve seen for a long time.
  11. I’ve never read so much drivel in all my life.
  12. 46 quid is expensive but hardly unexpected and if the result goes the right way, worth every penny.
  13. Thats what has been incredibly frustrating about him, does so much right only to waste so many great chances.
  14. Dessers is on a different level, just look back to Dumbarton, Ross County and his short time on the park yesterday, I’m talking about great chances. Should have easily been in double figures.
  15. Can go all the way back to the early days of super Ally at a time large sections of Ibrox regularly told him where to go. Up until Dessers I can’t remember any other Rangers strikers who gave themselves more great goal scoring opportunities in matches. Not the same as converting chances, he’s way down the list at the moment.
  16. Wasn’t talking about his finishing, he’d be a superstar if he finished half his chances 🙂
  17. Some people seem to believe all any striker has to do is hang around the penalty box and they’ll get opportunities, that’s simply not the case. Dessers is up there with the best of Rangers centre forwards when it comes to making opportunities for himself, if he can hit a bit of form and start converting a higher percentage then we’ll be in a very good place.
  18. They don’t, your previous post just about sums him up.👍
  19. You’d need to be pretty dumb to believe If the ref’s or VAR officials intentions were to cheat against us they wouldn’t have awarded a penalty when the ball struck Goldson’s arm. It wasn’t one but seen plenty given.
  20. Dessers has always made plenty of runs into the spaces and he’s obviously not too predictable for defenders otherwise he wouldn’t have missed so many great opportunities ( often crucial ) Ironically he wouldn’t have got such a hard time if timing of his runs wasn’t so good.
  21. Doesn’t sound like the words of a player looking to leave our great club.
  22. Well done Dessers, that was a class finish.
  23. I’m trying my best to be optimistic here, its no easy. 🙂 As you rightly point out Ally was younger and we all know how much of a success he went on to be for us. I made the comparison because of the position they play and the similarities in their strengths and weaknesses when they joined us, not because I’m overly confident Dessers is going to go on and be a huge success for us. Ally had been playing first team football for 3 seasons when he arrived and it took another couple before he started to develop into player that made him a club legend. Take Shankland, at the age of 28 this is the first season I think he looks like a player who should be playing at a higher level than Hearts or Aberdeen. That’s as good as I can come up with.
