That was my thoughts also. Could prove vital to him staying another season

There has been a fair few games where Gerrard can take the blame but he is in no way responsible for tonight. The amount of chances we have had to kill teams off this season have been criminal. 
Honestly hope we keep Gerrard for the next 3 years. He is a born winner, you can’t change everything in one season. He has given us a Europa league group stage run, he has given us a victory over celtic. He is going to make mistakes in the same way that all managers do but he will honestly get it right given enough time. 
He has helped turn Morelos into a 15-20m pound player. It’s frustrating as fuck. But Gerrard needs the full backing from everyone and the board. 
Certain he will bring us a title in the next two and a bit years. 

Pam is taking Broxi back to see fans before the game on Sat 16th March. She will be there from about 2pm. It looks like Broxi will be leaving Pam to go to his veteran in April so we were running out of dates to do this.
I realise this is now clashing with the VB protest at the BBC but I hope fans can do both if possible. Pam very kindly took a day of work so that she could take the boy to Ibrox.
If the weather is reasonable then Broxi and Pam will be at the J G statue, if it is poor then we will see where is going to be the best shelter and put that in this thread the day before.

Spot on mate ... the money I can understand ... being a short career .... no blame to any player for that.
We who follow The Rangers are a special breed apart ... and give freely of our support to our players .... and more so to players like Alfredo who get the adrenaline pumping .... If and when he leaves he will be  missed but remembered fondly .... warts and all.

The money will always be a factor but many who leave find it very hard to get motivated to play in front of half the amount of fans that’s why many never ever hit the heights they did at Rangers

A meek leader granted but he actually makes some salient points here, gives some good insight into the BBC issue also.

I remember the Auld guy from Harthill getting a slap and the Auld yin going Tonto , also a kid got hit.

I lived up there those days. Seen 3 riot vans full of disorder plod parked just off market street hours before the game. Actually seen the polis in them psching themselves up, warming up hitting their free hands with batons. 
It was inevitable bears were getting done that night. I think if bears had jumped the wall it would have ended up a lot worse for us whilst the sheep slunk away.
