Despite my usual pessimism I will head to the Pub for this, maybe the last chance for a pint before Wee Nippy locks us all down again the way things are going. Guaranteed that if anyone in a pub in Glasgow so much as sneezes tonight she will use it as an excuse to throw her weight around again and show everyone how strong and assertive she is.

Really good point, I had not thought about that. Stating the obvious I know when you think about it now, but of course our chances would have been much better if this was a next goal is the winner game. Circumstances have changed dramatically obviously since the first leg, not least that hopefully our team has got the post New Year slump out of its system.

Such a shame the first leg was actually played as I'd fancy us to take them tonight in a one off.

Although very unlikely I know, can you just imagine the reaction of THEM, if we were to pull off the great comeback? I think that a win tonight would net us about half a million, and no doubt progress to the next round will obviously bring an unexpected windfall. Imagine all the recalculation that would have to be done by the East End Financial wizards with regards to our impending bankruptcy.
It goes without saying that pulling off a comeback of this nature would be a huge morale booster for the coming season, which would be nice, sadly however I just cannot see it happening. Despite being ring rusty, Bayer are a very good team, and I think that we will do well to get a draw this evening.

Aye think we all had that tie mate, had the scarf with the thin red and white on it and the angular ends as well, I’m hoping it’s still in the house somewhere, I’ve still got a few caches of old boxes in the loft hopefully I’ll stumble across them.👍🏻👍🏻

That was me at one point. Sent down to the front by my Da where it was apparently safer and where he could keep an eye on me. I still have a tie similar to the one being worn by the lad on the left, a very slim type with the RSA crest between red and white stripes on a blue background.

I thought that Roast Beef Monster Munch was the preferred corn snack currency at Rangers?

With what I have seen so far, things are developing nicely with Castore and long may it continue to do so. After the long and weary road travelled with Ashley during which (after legal expenses) our retail arm probably cost us, rather than made us money, it is essential to get this vital income source back up and running to maximum proficiency, although I doubt that we will see a return to the astonishing sales figures of the late 80's early 90's.
Despite the never ending bitching about shirt designs, prices, colour of socks etc, Rangers supporters have demonstrated that they are only too willing to part with the cash should a good quality product be presented, and with Castore, I do not see this as being a problem.

We should not, ever have to rely on THEM falling apart. We have to win by our own efforts, fair and square, anything else would be a hollow victory even if it did mean stopping 9 1/2 in a row.

All in all a very worthwhile exercise. Getting a winning mentality going can only be a good thing.

GTA IV was a classic, the Ballad just made it better, what a hoot, and the missions were just the right side of being difficult, but not so difficult as to become annoying or a game breaker. To this day I am mortified that a CGI figure in a video game is 100% a far better dancer than I will ever be.
As for GTA V, a very good game, but could have been so much more, the only thing that really stood out for me was Trevor, deary me, the cut scene when he kicks one of our "heroes" from IV literally into the ground was a bit of a shock. I have never completed V, I still have it loaded up on my PC, perhaps I will have another go, the only problem being that I will end up spending all of my time exploring the place rather than trying to complete the story.

How long before some SNP/Groin Brigade/BLM twat starts complaining about offensive images being beamed onto public buildings in the City?

Was there that night, could not believe what I was watching unfold before me. I may be wrong but I believe that we were the first to beat Lyon at home, either ever, or for a very long time. Getting out of the ground at the end was very hairy, local cops were not pleased, funneled us in a very tight cordon of fully riot gear clad plod with batons drawn, just looking for any excuse to lay into us.
Happy days indeed, thanks for the memory BIB.
