Found these pics of the construction work online. Good pics I haven't seen before. Would be good the club could release a full set of all those taken during the work.

Compare now to the early eighties and it shows how much we badly need a David Holmes type figure to emerge.

And we have the vision of Walter Smith, McCoist, Knox and John Brown dining with David Murray. Only the ordinary fans care because we live it day after day. The rest of them are in a bubble.

The fans, trophy room and Ibrox are all that remains of Rangers.

Where we are now all started the day Murray spent £12 million on one player whilst playing in a league that only has 2 teams with attendances over 20,000. Who else was at the club at the time? Oh yes nearly the very same board we have now.

It's all Roy of the Rovers stuff but imagine Murty actually salvaged a season the board wrote off. He's stood up more than real Rangers men who could buy out King and transform the club. He's got my support for that and the players better respond.

The board shouldn't be praised for maintaining the properties the club owns. I will however praise them if they've actually thought outside the box and are actually improving the appearance of Ibrox with the new cladding and sides of the Copland/Broomloan rather than just replacing like for like as if nothing has changed. Not holding my breath though.

Rangers are responsible for the Albion and the stadium and its boundaries. The council for the rest. The people that live in these areas need to pressure the council for new footpaths, roads, lighting, job's and services. Never in a month of Sunday's are the council especially the current one going to act on behalf of Rangers and its support. As for generating income, we are so far behind because we never invested in the area when we were cash rich. Now land is being used to hide Ibrox and divert money away from the club and the surrounding area.

It is and I don't blame a fella for trying to build a career. But any links to that paper should be blocked.

No "Rangers" men stood up in our hour of need. They all hid because of the tax man even though the club could have made a payment agreement with hmrc if/when the btc was sorted. Only Rangers men for me are those that live it day in day out not those that see as a freebie on a matchday or a way to claw back past investments.

All to try and win a trophy we were never going to win. They gambled our club and 140 years of building the world's most successful sporting institution. Same people are still sitting in the best seats eating the best food and drink. Between them they could of called out Murray at the time of £12 million signings but they were too comfy.

If I have to choose one then it's John but why not try him further forward with Wallace behind.
