  1. Do you seriously think the MOD will shoot themselves in the foot and stop using Scotland's shipbuilders just because of independence? Utter bollocks. Scaremongering. It's primary school-age threats.
  2. Maybe the Scots will give them the incentive to force Westminster to change the way they treat them.
  3. So you accept the poor state of things as they are rather than try to make things better? You've just quoted Project Fear's Big One "You canny go back!!!!""Scots are incapable of living intelligently!!! We'll take care of you, there's a good boy. Now just watch your football and drink your beer and everything will be fine." Do you know any nation that wants to go back to life as it was before independence?
  4. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-28929433 A Noble Prize winning economist calls out the Fear and Bluffing of the No campaign. Or you could ignore him and listen to Archie instead . But I think it's too important for that.
  5. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-08-20/stiglitz-says-u-k-would-drop-denial-of-pound-to-scotland.html Also, do you really think the English threats to uproot all the banking sector jobs in Scotland and move them to England will actually be carried out? Of course not, it would cost England a fortune to do that, and they're not going to cut off their nose just in spite. Same goes for the scaremongering regarding the MOD shipbuilding contracts. The MOD have contracts all over the world, do you seriously think they're going to shoot themselves in the foot in pure spite if Scotland votes Yes? It would cost them a huge fortune. They're not going to damage themselves just spite. Project Fear.
  6. Which Archie is that? The well respected professor of economics who thinks Scotland will be more prosperous when independent?
  7. London can't go independent. The Southern States are trying to re fight the civil war, and you'd know that if you spent any time paying attention to US politics. Regarding your last comment: that's just pure ignorance.
  8. I guess you are not old enough to remember what it was like under the last conservative government. Scots voted labour but England voted for, and we got, the Tories.
  9. I don't think there is anyone on here who isn't naive. I have heard a lot of people repeating what they've heard politicians say, but none commenting on what economists say. I trust the views of economists over that of lying and scaremongering politicians. But this is not the place to discuss something as serious as independence, after all, the union flag is too ingrained in Rangers traditions.
  10. Yeah, I used tunnelbear to watch the BBC and ITV coverage of the world cup. Reeking. You're fuckin paranoid
  11. Trying to influence admin cause someone disagrees with you?
  12. Nah, I don't read Tory propaganda at all. Or any other propaganda, whether it's the Yes or No campaigns. I like to read what economics professor and suchlike have to say about it as I don't think they'll try to mislead, unlike those honest politicians.
  13. OK Sherlock, what is the 'unusual hour' for California?
  14. Ally doesn't take chances he doesn't see as worth it, imo. For example, Telfer, who now sits on DU's bench instead of playing for Rangers' youth team because he doesn't seem to be good enough.
  15. I keep hearing about Peralta's contribution. Might have to pay for the highlights on RTV to see it.
  16. Comparing the histories of Scotland and California doesn't make you look smart.
