Great second half, thankfully starting to look like a footballer after a horrific start. Hopefully he’s starting to learn we have about 80% of the ball instead of fighting for his life in a relegation battle. Broke up play really well second half and made the second goal with his pressing

Could be good Hagi hasnt been involved, least he hasn’t been dragged into the poor performances and coming in fresh. He’s critical to the way we play

I know most of us get stick for having a go at the team too quickly but I honestly don’t see where this ends and it’s the most worrying thing about the first 2 months of the season. I can’t believe we’re top of the league at the moment, and for that to continue we need the form to turn around very quickly. Imo change formation or at least have the option, change it up going forward we’re too predictable, stick with the same two CBs and try and rotate as little as possible unless its in the cups

It always has. Those that can pay for themselves through the education system whilst getting course fees paid are the ones that benefit wildly from it. Debt free at the end and like you say bringing in 100k+ a year. Fair fucks to them for manipulating the system but again the country is too caught up on “free” it’s far from it. In fact it’s probably constraining considering the majority who “benefit” from it are paying it back for the majority of their working life

I honestly believe within a year of an independent Scotland, orange walks would be banned. These cunts stop at nothing to crush anything that remotely celebrates the complete opposite of their ideology. We’re meant to believe that the SNP and left wing politics are all inclusive and all welcoming, its as clear as day that’s only true if you believe in what they do.

See funnily enough nobody ever wants to dig deeper into the “free” education. At the time I had not one penny when I went to uni, I had no other option but to take out a loan from SAAS (Student Awards Agency for SCOTLAND) which I’ll be paying back until I’m 60. What is the definition of free? If by free you mean those who can afford to pay themselves through uni and get course fees paid so they end up with a degree then that’s free. For the vast majority it isn’t free. Also it isn’t all “free”. If you do a 4 year degree and want to complete a Masters you have to pay part of the course fees. Another wee snippet nobody tells you about. And if you want to do a PhD you have to pay for it all yourself as SAAS or the government don’t fund that level of study which is forcing potential academics down South or abroad for study, unless they have the money themselves. So many people get caught up on the word free like it actually means something, like another poster said it just means another service is being cut in the long term.

I don’t actually count Jack as one of our midfielders anymore. It’s about time we just forgot about him until he’s fit enough to give us 7-8-9 games on the bounce which will probably be never. It would be good to see him back but it just isn’t going to happen on a level of consistency we need.

I’ve said for months this season is bigger in so many aspects off the park than last season. We absolutely need the automatic qualification to the CL or it’s looking really perilous

Not really bothered about Goldson tbh, going into the CL will be worth treble or quadruple his value to being sold in the past summer. Kamara however is a £20m player and getting into the CL without him signing a new contract which means the CL makes up the loss of those two players instead of getting us on an even keel financially with player sales taking us into profit is concerning

I thought he was awful tbh and I really don’t know what he’s meant to bring to the team. For his height and build he usually gets bullied or lets the striker hold him off then gives away a free kick. He’s poor in the air, isn’t very quick and doesn’t pass the ball well either.

We’re making it so much more difficult than it needs to be. I’m not saying this season should’ve been a stick on and won by 25 points but we should be winning it just about comfortably. We’re making it into a hard slog, a situation we’ve not been in before as champions. I really hope something changes soon otherwise this season will take years off my life!

The disdain the club has for the fans seriously is beginning to leave a bitter taste in the mouth. That was absolutely pathetic and matched the second half performance at least. I’d have thought if we made it the occasion it’s meant to be the players may have risen to it. That was probably our biggest title win in our history and we got served up with that pish, found it embarrassing in all honesty and was glad it wasn’t televised

I’m not panicking yet but there’s a big difference getting a draw at Hibs when a couple of game changing decisions went against us compared to performance today at home against Motherwell where the biggest decision of the game let us get a draw

Aye it usually turns for us end of November- start of January. If we aren’t at least 10 clear by then I think we’re in for a long winter. They’ll have more dross and basically the rest of the league at home in that time. We need to make this “easy” start count

Honestly an absolutely shocking start to the season. We should already be 6 clear and coasting. We’re just meandering through games hoping we can win. The formation doesn’t work we need to start going 5 attack minded players on the park. Relying on the front 3 just isn’t working at all. Going to be an absolute slog when it should be a lot easier than that considering them across the road. If we continue this trend I’m not sure how we’ll manage, our form is all over the place. Can’t defend or score at the minute. Only positive was I thought Sakala looked good, my worry for him was he’d struggle against packed defences but found some good positions throughout the game

Something has to change though. This formation just isn’t working anymore. Should have at least 5 attack minded players on the park at home against shite like this
