  1. Jeez - you're a cheery bunch on here tonight. Let's just call it a night there then.
  2. Was having a chat with my mate today about the difference in the teams we've had from this season to last. This years midfield would jobby all over last years. We'd be superior now in every position. All I want to know is how many would Rangers Now, win by?
  3. If that Van Di*K got sold for £13m from the tarriers then Tav must be worth a cool 20 mill....
  4. No yah doughnut! What I meant by the post was, IF he was still here would he have fitted into the current squad. In my opinion i dont think he would. By no means was i suggesting that we shouldve taken him back. I'm of the same opinion as you. Bring in new faces and not old friends.
  5. Just seen on sky sports news that he's left Stoke to join Scunthorpe and it got me thinking. Reckon if he was still with us he'd get anywhere near the first team? What notable youth players have come through in the last 5 years and been able to hold down their position..?
  6. I reckon the game play felt an awful lot slower. Glad they've fixed the 'ball over the top' move. All the players ratings were fixed at 85. Think this must be to keep the final ratings secret until release day. I'll assum Tavernier is a 93 though.
  7. Wonder if Black is free for my 7 a side game tonight.....
  8. MARK WARBURTON is thrilled that Rob Kiernan is among his first signings for Rangers and he believes the 6’ 3” stopper will be a terrific addition to his squad. The Light Blues boss has worked with the 24-year-old in the past – both with Watford and during the player's loan spell at Brentford in 2012/13 – and he has no doubt his desire and passion for the game, coupled with his talent, will make him a big hit with the Ibrox faithful. He said: "I'm delighted to get hold of Rob. He's a boy I know very well from Watford, he's passionate about playing football, technically gifted, great range of pass, 6' 3" and he's a good specimen as well “But Rob just loves playing football. He played comfortably in the Championship last year down south and had offers to go back down into the Championship but when he heard about this here you could hear immediately his excitement. "He wants to play football, he wants to get on the ball and impress, he wants to be the best player and that's how Rob is. "He's well liked in the dressing room, well liked off the pitch and for me he'll really add value here at Ibrox." Warburton remembers what caught his eye at first when he first saw Kiernan in action in the youth ranks at Watford. He said: "As a young player, for me, an outstanding range of pass. “The way he hit the ball with both feet was magnificent and we took him to the Milk Cup in Ireland and watched him play so well over there against teams like United and then watched his progress. "We took him on loan to Brentford and then he got signed up at Wigan. At Birmingham last year he did very well at Championship level and I know he had offers to go back to the Championship so we've had to try to hijack that and get him here. "But as I say, immediately I want players who want to be here and within five seconds of saying to Rob about this possibility he was over the moon." On being appointed manager of Rangers seven days ago Warburton expressed a desire to bring good personalities into the dressing room and he feels Kiernan has great qualities both on and off the pitch. He said: "He has good character, really good character, but whenever you speak to Rob it's like Christmas morning, he just wants to play football, always has done. "I think we had him at Watford at 12 or 13 years of age and he's always been the same. He just loves playing football, would train to hard if anything, so it's about us getting the load in right for Rob, getting into him and using his experience, developing him. "For him to work alongside someone like Davie Weir will be fantastic as a centre half, a footballing centre half, so he's looking forward to it but I'm sure, I hope very much, that the supporters see a very good signing. "The key thing is he wants to be here. He got the offers in the Championship but he wants to be here and that sends out a powerful message. “You have all these names being banded around, you could throw a thousand names, the fact is if there is one person who wants to be here that is the one we will sign. It's important for us. Does he add the value on and off the pitch? Does he add the quality? Has he got the passion to come here and make a real impression?"
  9. Anyone remember when that Takis Fyssas gave a wee slap to one of our ball boys @ Ibrox??

Everything else was above board. Even the HMRC lost their fight against us. We were put in administration to fund the lifestyle for Craig Whyte. There was no reason to do it. He bottled it thinking it should have been done. When Charles Green rocked up – he bought the assets, Ibrox, Murray park etc.. (trophies included) and the SPL then confirmed because we had no sporting advantage by using the EBT’s, we would have won them regardless.. From: C*lt*c, Fan Sent: 18 March 2015 11:10 To: Rangers, Fan Subject: RE: That’s is clear but the old company was in breach of breaking rules and now the new company – The Rangers football will have a clean slate – which means yous have your own history etc - #2titles From: Rangers, Fan Sent: 18 March 2015 11:05 To: C*lt*c, Fan Subject: RE: Do you actually understand what that means?? I don’t know how to make this any more clearer for you…. The SPL unlawfully held the £250,000 from us because they knew they were never going to go it from the Oldco. It has since been paid to us. An independent commission, chaired by Lord Nimmo Smith (CELTIC FAN!!!), has ruled the club breached SPL rules by failing to disclose to the league all payments made to players for playing activities. In its reasoning, the commission states players were eligible. It states: "Rangers FC did not gain any unfair competitive advantage from the contraventions of the SPL Rules in failing to make proper disclosure of the side-letter arrangements, nor did the non-disclosure have the effect that any of the registered players were ineligible to play, and for this and other reasons no sporting sanction or penalty should be imposed upon Rangers FC. "Although the payments in this case were not themselves irregular and were not in breach of SPL and SFA rules, the scale and extent of the proven contraventions of the disclosure rules require a substantial penalty to be imposed." The fine is payable by the old company, now in liquidation, and not Charles Green's new company, which purchased the club's assets in July 2012.
