I agree. But it wasn’t him that decided he should mince around in front of our back 4 for the first hour on Sunday. Probably our best attacking MF, woefully played in an area where he can’t press the game.

I’m all for more dogs barking at the caravan as it moves on to be fair, or a bit of standing in the bushes.

Which makes both signings look like a hopeful punt, that Beale could somehow deploy them in a formation that suited their strengths or, he could improve them by coaching. Neither looks probable right now.

He won’t, because he doesn’t have the ruthlessness or self awareness that a serious Manager possesses to make the correct calls.

3-5-2 is probably the answer. Our FBs are for the most part very average defenders.

Someone who recognises that you beat them by pushing high as a minimum. The worst thing is that he has seen this, but chose not to do it. Mate, my only thinking is that Dessers and Roofe will test their back line physically. Danilo probably doesn’t provide that. I get what you’re saying though and don’t disagree.

When men were men, and not a pair of pink boots or a hair band was to be seen. But most importantly, treated that bunch with the contempt they deserved.

Had a bit of a nightmare last night, which happens. What is unforgivable is for Beale to watch this and not react and replace him at HT.

The only positive is that the filth are nowhere near the level of this lot.

No doubt about it. Neither full back is actually a good defender.

Poor all around. More gaps than the London Underground. No idea what the formation or plan was, but it’s absolutely not working. Players are poor, but the bigger question is what is Beale doing?

No bold predictions. But, it’s things like this that can impact in many different areas. Always good to see them lose. The initiative has swung our way.

I’m no expert, but I’m with you. He seems to be lacking fitness, but has shown good touches at times. Im fairly sure he will improve. Too early to write him off.
