Sky have been given far more than £1.5m back with being handed the league sponsorship naming rights, whatever Sky manage to get for next 5 seasons they keep. Could amount to much more than they were actually due back.

No doubt about it.  If they have to repay £4.5m to BT, that’s a big hit, and unsurprisingly the SPFL will try to bury the news.
I know that it’s a done deal, but I’d be amazed if the testing costs associated to finishing the remaining games of this season, before starting the next were anything like the £6m being passed back to the broadcasters (£4.5m BT and £1.5m Sky)
Bad business, caused by bad decisions and only the SPFL can tell us why.  The problem is that nobody appears to be pushing them to explain their actions.

Another 48 hr deadline, do these clowns at the SPFL never learn , especially after the last one before  that absolute  shambles of a vote.
Wonder what harebrained scheme they have planned this time?

Today it has been spun that the Sky deal is great news. It is not. Pay them back over 5 years or so is the deal.
I have no idea about what happens with BT. I just thought it a point worth putting out as it's something the mafia have failed to mention.

Dungcaster still hasn’t learned lessons from recent events regarding giving clubs suitable time to respond it seems.  I read he has written to clubs asking them to tell him what would make reconstruction more palatable.  Responses due by Friday.
They really are amateurish in their business approach.
You simply cannot trust him or any of his cronies.

I’m doing the same mate.  As I said, as far as I’m concerned my ST entitles me to watch the home games.  If the league and Sky have come up with this deal to show games then fine,  but I’m not paying the club anymore to watch it.  Although the clubs match day takings for BCD games will be reduced, so will their costs.  Let’s see what comes out before the next payment is due at the end of June.

I read they a payment of £4.5m has or will need to be paid this season to BT.  That is from this seasons pot I think...

    From club1872
Rangers will update supporters in due course on a number of topics of interest but we are in a position to confirm that season ticket holders will be granted complimentary access to all home games streamed via RTV as a result of those matches being played behind closed doors.

The whole thing was a stitch up from start to finish.
That nauseating statement from Sky clearly has Liewell all over it.

Can’t believe the TV deal is worth even less than before and the clubs in this country are happy with that. Absolutely amazing.

I want at least 10 clubs to go under, including Hearts

To those without a ST buy RTV and give Sky and the SPFL nothing.
That whole agreement stinks to high heaven.

Yeah, you couldn’t make it up.
I’d like to know what the potential benefactor would get for his money if this goes ahead.

Let them want as far as I’m concerned.  The integrity of the competition is all that matters and the schedule is the schedule.  No way should we agree to change the dates if requested.  Let them suck it up.
