I cannot see the B team coach making many changes, and doubt he would sub Tav, I could also be completely wrong.
Thst was a disgraceful first half and many players seemed nervous and frightened of the occasion.

We are in a great position for a new manager coming in a settled team four points clear and with a very decent squad.
We have all complained about various parts of Gerrards management, subs were weird, timing of subs equally weird, the lethargy in the way we have started the season.
depending on who we get  we could really see our team pushing on we have better players than any team in the league, is it now time to let the players off the leash and bin this ten holding midfielders we play and show everyone why we are champions.

But I would fucking love it when we beat Liverpool in a Champions League Group match next season and 50k of us are singing "Gerrard are you watching..."

Absolutely correct. The money had to be spent to get us where we are. And not selling players was to keep us where we are and be on target for the 10 year plan.  We are very lucky the board are willing to put the money in to keep us going to get through this period.  Unfortunately the team are not fully pulling their weight to get us where we need to be - CL money.
Balancing the books would have only been done by selling and accepting second spot from now on.

Hats off to those in the board who have put in the money to cover the club, enabling us to get us over the line with the title.
