They've already started dropping points more regularly than I thought they would. We really could challenge this year if we can get out act together (which we seem to have started to)

Think John is excellent in attack, drives at players and gets into dangerous positions so often. As with Tav, his downside is his defensive ability. However, John edges it ahead of Wallace for me.

Had we won all of his games I'd have wanted him appointed permanent manager (at least until end of season) at this point. As it is, I wonder if the players have reacted, in these last two games, to the fact they were playing against their new manager's team. Still hope we unveil big MPH tomorrow...

Fair enough, I'd have Alves alongside McCrorie probably. The difference between Kranjcar and Alves is that Alves is still playing at that level internationally and has arrived from Serie A.

Someone said it elsewhere- should he not be taking our penalties? Would give him a confidence boost to increase his goals tally.

I'd be surprised if the new manager is interested in Walker tbh

McCrorie has done well in the few games he's played but it's way, waaaay too early to say he's the best CH at the club. Better than 90 odd caps, current Portugal international and European Championship winner Bruno Alves? I'd go as far as to say Bruno is the best CH in the country, albeit not living up to his potential so far this season

I like McCrorie as much as the next guy but to say he's a better CH than Bruno Alves is absolute madness

I'd also try John replacing Windass and Wallace at LB. Also means whenever Wallace gets injured John can take up the LB slot

Is that the other team Preud'homme is considering going to?
