Rules are rules, I don’t like the handball rules now but as long as they are applied consistently and fairly without any form of discretion applied then that’s fine. It’s when you see the last game where Johnstone literally punched the ball and it wasn’t given as a penalty (you can talk about sima being offside all you like but if he was offside it would have been a free kick, the fact it was a goal kick shows they didn’t even consider the hand ball).

It was an opportunity to take some of the pressure off the game in hand and really pile the pressure on them (top of the league with a game in hand would be a massive psychological boost for us).
That said if we had lost 3-2 today I'd have said they'd be clear favourites for the title.
It's got to be a game at a time now, intensity has to be there from the start of the match no more fucking pedestrian starts to the games, any player doing that shouldn't be starting again.

Too many players casually approaching this one at the start and it’s repeat offenders…..Phil needs to make a point of this, we need players to be a machine from first whistle to last. This title race is going right to the wire and we can’t be making those kind of errors and gifting goals to opponents.

Agree, as bad as Barisic can be sterling would do much more in the middle than diamande and Lawrence combined.

This isn’t that dissimilar to being unable to field a team of 11 players, if you can provide a playable pitch on multiple occasions you lose points. They could have said weeks ago to Dundee United to use their ground, get some fixtures rearranged as it’s much less of a headache than having to postpone multiple games for the fans and the governing body itself.
