Meanwhile in Dundee it’s fine for yes voters to continue doing the same thing.
So sick of this country now, fucking run by scum top to bottom.

That is a very good save, but not even in the same stratosphere as the Bremen one, in my opinion.
Very true, I think the one last night was reminiscent of the Bremen save just because it was close up and was a big save as far as the outcome of the game was concerned however you are right it isn't close to the Bremen one if I'm being honest

even if the Liverpool job came up at the end of the season i would hope Gerrard would have the sense to see that he'd be better waiting until he has more experience than to run the risk of going now and running the risk of ruining his legacy at liverpool.
I’m thinking longer term.
I could see Gerrard becoming a mainstay at our club if he keeps going like this so if in 2 years or 3 years time the Liverpool job became available I think he’ll more than likely go for it and if he’s won titles and cups here then I suspect he’ll get it.....then you worry about who you get in because the last 3 managers have been dire in comparison.

‘I don’t think you’ll,ever find any excuse coming from us” when talking about the plastic pitch.....not like our scummy neighbours who moan about grass length at Tynecastle.
-
I’m hoping Klopp stays at Liverpool for the rest of his career because Gerrard is ticking all the boxes to be a great manager here.

Can't stand all this . Yes he probably should have done better with that chance, but overall last night not one of our players deserves criticism.
So it was the perfect performance from every player and no player should look to improve or better certain elements of their game?
You always have to find areas you can improve upon otherwise you think you are perfect, get complacent and become useless in a team of highly motivated players.
Murphy put in a shift last night as did the other players but that doesn’t mean you can’t find any flaws in their game overall or the performance last night.
Morelos was great last night too but again reacted to the opposition trying to wind him up and could have been sent off. Are we not allowed to say he needs to cut that out of his game?
Ejaria worked hard but lost the ball a number of times being too casual or trying to showboat rather than keep possession and play simple passes. Should that also be overlooked?
Do you think Gerrard or his coaching staff will say great game lads and move on? Of course not they’ll assess the game for each player and collectively and see what went well and what could be better.
As long as the criticism isn’t just “He’s shite” and instead shows a level of thought and is constructive then I see no problem being able to bring anything like that to a discussion on the game.

He should have looked up and squared the ball back and showed a bit of composure
Look at the clip above he had no one in support at that point, holding up play would just have allowed the defence to get back in numbers.
A better touch and a better connection with the ball for his shot and he’d at least have given the keeper something to worry about.

Thought he did fine but that chance through on goal he really shoulda done better with.
Agree
Morelos' ball was superb and Murphy did well enough to create the chance (though his touch wasn't good enough and took him too wide).
At the very least should have made the keeper work rather than completely scuffing it

We said that last night a Scottish ref wud have sent him off he was lucky the player went down holding his face aye right!!
But glad our players calmed him down or it cud have been worse.
It was funny with the tongue out and the f u to there dug out hopefully he sticks to that stuff.
Teams up here will try to get him sent off needs to wise up quickly.
100% correct
The ref was poor in my opinion last night. The penalty was not a penalty. Too many yellows given to our players (like Arfields 50/50 late on in the second half their player makes the most of it and its a yellow to Arfield). Too many 50/50s going their way.
However, he got the Morelos incident spot on as he went straight to the Maribor player as he was the aggressor then play acted to try and get Morelos sent off. Cunt should have been booked for playacting.

Would have preferred Progres for a number of reasons but we just need to approach this like any of the previous games.
I’m sure we’ve already got videos of their games against Progres and we’ll be finding ways to hurt them and any strengths they have to counter those.
It could have been much harder than this as they looked pretty poor from what I saw yesterday however under this management I don’t think we’ll ever take anything for granted.

Why the fuck any player would ever want to leave us is beyond me

To the tune Easy Lover by Phil Collins
Lassana Cou-libaly
He’ll take the ball from you believe it
Like no other
Before you know it you’ll be on your knees
Lassana Cou-libaly
He’ll take your legs and you will feel it
He’s like no other
And he’s going to win the fucking league

I think rather than thinking the tides are turning we need to just train harder, play harder, sing louder and build momentum.
Pendulums always swing back but let’s fucking push this one.

If we can start all 3 it’s a major boost since this is the type of game we need them in and no offence to Ejaria or McCrorie but we need more than they offer in this game. It’s going to be a battle and having these 3 in the middle of the park with candeias wide right and Kent wide left will ensure we have work rate and determination.

Unfortunately this isn't the movies where you can simply say "Enhance" and detail gets put where there was none to begin with so zooming in is a bit on the blurry side.

Sorry but there's very little in it for me I think Katic went down as he saw an opportunity to run down the clock.
Put it this way I wouldn't be calling it a punch if Morelos had done that to their centre half

Not sure if it’s been posted already but got to love his attitude.

Night and day to last year in central defence. It’s early days but I just hope we can avoid injuries and suspensions as their styles seem to compliment one another.
Pity with the goal Goldson didn’t just get the side of the boot to the ball but he was solid for the rest of the game so can’t be too harsh.
Goldson is captain material, cool and composed, leads by example and is very vocal at organising the defence. Here’s hoping we can get the best years of his and katic’s careers and form a formidable partnership.

Make no mistake lads this year is going to be much closer with the scum and all of the pundits, commentators, journos, SFA and SPFL board members all know it. As the fear kicks in more and more reekin comments and decisions etc. are going to come our way but I think Gerrard is already aware of what we will be up against and I have no doubt he’ll get the team united and ready for the fight.

He’s a confidence player and at the moment his confidence is sky high and therefore he’s finishing chances he’d have missed last season.
Agree he’a caught offside too often and he’ll hopefully learn over time and start to stay onside. He’s not slow and he is strong so he doesn’t always need to get the extra 2 yards ahead as the ball comes through.
