  1. I agree. We have said ‘we welcome the chase’ but our mentality lately feels more like we are more comfortable chasing. We fight when we chase but when we get there don’t know how to handle it. It is a mental block in the club that must change to become consistently successful. We need to start behaving like we are the pre-eminent club in Scotland.
  2. Have no issue with this at all. I want Rangers players to be brave, honest and not hide when times are tough. I respect his honesty and we need more of that attitude in this squad. Too many treating it like just another game. Bringing in players with the English Championship mentality that a draw is not a bad result shows a total lack of undertaking as to what is required as a Rangers player.
  3. Thinks that’s a pretty fair assessment. Clement and the board have to be bold in the summer. He strikes me as someone who will be. We may not bring in better. Who knows but we cannot start next season with some of these charlatans who have continually let the club down when needed. Doing the same thing on repeat and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. That is the story of our recent seasons.
  4. How many years have we been saying that for now….
  5. Absolutely none of our forwards score anywhere near enough to win Championships.
  6. He’s done. Some great goals over his time with us but sooner he and other players go the better.
  7. This team has finally run out of steam, mentally and physically. After all the promise season is peetering out at a whimper.
  8. A fair summary. We lack quality and strength in depth. We tried to address that in January in loan market and they are injured too. There is much work to be done.
  9. That is the frustration. Over a season you will have games when you’re not at the races in terms of quality. But what should always be there in a Rangers side is a relentless intensity from beginning to end. To be out fought and out pressed by a poor SPL side is not acceptable. It isn’t over and celtic are not all that but it may come down to which side has more of a winning mentality and recent history is not on our side there.
  10. Game like today was crying out for a Shankland. Modern football obsesses with technical ability. Modern sides like forwards that link up, can track back, can hold the ball up. That is why players like him are not fancied by lots of modern coaches. It is why Boyd struggled overseas and why he often didn't play in European matches for us. But there are matches domestically in particular where you just need a finisher. Walter recognised that. Today was collectively a shocker but with a clinical finisher they could have been dead and buried. We created enough chances in that match to win it. We need a traditional striker in the squad next season. Even if it is someone that doesn't start every match.
  11. The thing with this group is every time we need to win a game we don’t. They do. And historic great Rangers sides did. Until we have players that can find a way to win consistently when we are playing badly we are in a hole. That mentality takes time to build.
  12. Still lots of football to play but can’t hide the fact that was a shocking performance. Needs to be balls booted.
  13. Real test of bottle here. Can’t win this we don’t deserve to win anything this season. Clement has done well but reality is our squad is not good enough over a season.
  14. Kicking the can like this is idiotic. Buses and stuff already left and the same farce as before just because nobody had the balls to make a decision. I said it before but it’s tinpot stuff. Clement and the club couldn’t have been clearer that the correct thing to do was make an early call. Instead they are doing to opposite…again
  15. Someone should just show some initiative and move this match. Preferably to a proper stadium like Ibrox.
  16. Agree with most of that. Dundee actually have undersoil heating and have for some time. The issue is the drainage and I agree it seems this has been neglected for some time as the overall surface quality is far below what would be expected in a top tier side
  17. There is no doubt a lot of the narrative is driven by their placemen in the media. I’m not happy with Silva’s theatrics but the double standard is there as usual.
  18. Momo celtic or Peter Puffin?
  19. Always have a lot of time for McLeish. I feel in a weird way he’s a bit overlooked but given the money available he was magnificent for us and always conducted himself as a Rangers manager should. Great to see him at the palace and superb for the big man.
  20. Tinpottery at its finest with clubs like this in the top division. I had a degree of sympathy with them before but if the pitch is unplayable again we should just be given the points. Worth it just to see the reaction from celtic, and would probably warrant another strongly worded letter to the SFA.
  21. No point bothering about who might hypothetically take points off them. It's in our hands. Focus on us. We win our matches and avoid defeat against them and we win it.
  22. I don't get that? Why would you start someone who is unfit and barely played in the match that puts us top if we win? We should be playing our strongest team in the run in.
  23. The difference is McCoist doesn't have a victim mentality looking for offence at every turn. He will probably just laugh it off but make no mistake, English makes a complete weapon of himself here.
