We need to get our concerns about referees on record before matches kick off be it Collum, Clancy or whoever. Have a question and answer prepared for the pressers before the matches.

So we have had a formal complaint about Collum, we have also questioned his competence and now he is cheating us on VAR. We cannot let this slide and need the club to do more than to release statements and then retire meekly until the next time he screws us over.

I was surprised Cantwell didn’t start and was concerned that Beale is talking about 4 games in 12 days. It is the first game of the season and the focus should have been on beating Killie. With a number of new signings it is important they play together to gel and learn the system. Not knowing the best team and what system we play and chopping and changing the selection does not help that process. Too early to be overly critical on Beale but he needs to simplify things, get the team playing better football and for the forwards to get service and goals.

We have had issues with Collum before and we may well complain after the event by which time it’s too late. I would be looking for us to allude to our concerns before the match in interviews. Not calling the referee a cheat but having a question set up and answer ready that we can refer back to after the match win, lose or draw.

We do need VAR but the issue would be how the checks are done. Could we end up with Madden on the pitch and Clancy on VAR? Would be better for us to have English refs with experience of VAR to run it. In the meantime we need to get the concerns about refs mentioned in the pressers before the matches so when they mess up again we have the evidence from the match to support our complaints.

So years ago when the fans bought tickets game by game it was easier to have a close to even split for an Old Firm fixture. In the last 30 years or so there has been less and less of an allocation as the fans demand season tickets and deserve their own seat for all games. The only reason it is an issue in Scotland is because we done it first.

At one point they had Tommy McLean as manager and signed Davie Cooper. Now they are nobodies with hate filled morons in the stands who abuse a player for progressing their career.

If a player is good enough to perform on the pitch then having somebody over 30 or under 20 is not an issue. The problem is that as Rangers fans we have seen too many older players that are well past their best who don’t perform. Then the criticism follows that they only signed to top up the pension. For younger players the problem is they either perform well for 6 months to a year and return to their parent club or they don’t contribute enough and are taking a spot from academy players already at the club.

The weekly wages in England are crazy and despite all the TV money the end product is not improving year on year. There was a time players got a testimonial after ten years now some players get multi million “loyalty” bonuses after 3-4 years.

Cliques or not too many of the first team pool are not good enough and lack the mental strength to play for Rangers. The fact that Windass is a starter no matter how badly he plays says it all. Miller did well against Hearts but has not done enough since. The centre of the defence is too inconsistent and no matter who plays out of Wilson, Alves, McCrorie and Cardoso we see a good game followed by a bad one. After Hamilton some players should have been dropped for Dundee but are Barjonas, Hardie and Pena able to step up?

I accept that calling someone a prick is heat of the moment. Bringing nationality into it is worse than that. Calling a Rangers Manager a prick should be dealt with by the club.
