Ffs folk need to stop wetting the bed. We played Benfica a top team in Europe not Dundee or St mirren. With the players we have we have more than enough to finish the season as champions. The problem tonight wasn't just our strikers it was the service as well, you could see the difference of quality when benfica got in dangerous areas whereas we took too many touches or waited too long to play the correct pass.

He didn't play well and could have done better but for me a large part of that was some of the balls up to him were terrible. At 1 point in the game when we were under the cosh we were just hopelessly punting the ball up the park into a channel. Otamendi is quick and lapped they balls up all night, we needed to play into his feet or chest which rarely happened. Last night was more about our resolute defending and unfortunately whoever was up top was going to be detached from the rest. I'm not judging him on that performance.

He played very well last night, just a few occasions he could have done better with the final ball but overall played well.

We should be doing better to identify them and keep them here then.

He looked like a throwback to Lothar Matthäus, even the way he had his oversized strip tucked into his shorts.

Ffs the guys not a robot, players can't play their best in every game or certainly not at our level. He's our best CB and although he can be frustrating he's still been solid this season.

At the start of the season I genuinely thought he was 1 of the worst strikers I have seen play for us but I've grown to like him and think he has attributes that help us. He's started to find a good bit of scoring form and I still think about how good that goal against Betis was that helped put us through. His misses are frustrating mainly due to how easy they seem to be but he scores good difficult chances. If he scored every chance he wouldn't be playing in Scotland and under Clement there has been a marked improvement. Not sure what the future holds for him but if he can keep scoring and we win the league then I'll happily accept his faults. I think it's now time we all back the big man and show him the love.

Same way it was a bit early for folk to be writing the season off coz we didn't bring in another striker. The fact we won something already should have been enough for people to be patient. Wouldn't be RM if folk weren't going OTT

We should be trying our best to keep him, he's been unreal for a while now. I know we have sterling but we need a squad and sterling can be used in a variety of areas. It's a no brainier for me, get him signed on a 3 year deal. Get rid of the other guf.

Remember when the cry babies were saying we won't win a league with Dessers up top in January 😂. I don't care if he misses a few chances, if he keeps scoring and we keep winning I'm happy.

The village inn, just don't end up in legends. The Murray bar is mixed but most pubs are, generally whoever is playing is normally what support turn up.
