It is a shame; after all of this they could have just gone professional way back when... and most likely have been a force. They already competed, if not out-played the other Glasgow teams when it was an even playing field, if I remember correctly? I wonder how the alternative history of that situation would have played out... Until 1887/8 you were a Rangers or a Queens fan. Maybe the Unmentionables wouldn't have grown in fan base from their foundation...

One of my favourite kits, alongside the managers jacket. The Adidas kit was fantastic, and there is something about that period of kits that just makes me think of professional sporting. It's hard to articulate into words, but it was prior to big big money; reminds me of the olympics, and achievement.

The long sleeve 96/97 was glorius. Popping that collar at school like Eric Cantona! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Match-Worn-Glasgow-Rangers-Adidas-Long-Sleeve-Shirt-1996-97-11-Laudrup-XL/362740490011?hash=item5475049f1b:g:r-gAAOSwSGtdZWkm

Do we have a stronger team than last season

Hold that thought -
You'd hope so. I'm sure if it wasn't Gerrard wouldn't stand for it.

Struggling to break teams down

Fair. This is true, however I was talking about the general gist of us watching the filth score last minute winners in games they struggled through time and time again to get 3 points. -

However, they are the sort of games that we didn't win last year. That the filth would. Last minute winners, free kicks etc -
Where'd you get this from?
