  1. Not sure how old you are but I grew up watching us in the 60's and without too much thought can think of serious injuries to Baxter, Caldow, Provan, Henderson, McKinnon, so it is not really a new phenomenon.
  2. Where were these employment laws when we sacked Sandaza?
  3. Again we can't win - fans up in arms wanting us to take action against the press and when we do it is labelled embarrassing. Traynor should have taken him outside and given him a tanking
  4. Tax laws will prevent him spending any more than 90 days in the UK
  5. Why the board? They have backed the manager - he is the one who identifies the positions he thinks need strengthening
  6. Wes is a decent shop stopper but does not command his box and is poor at high balls. Calamity waiting to happen with the ball at his feet and also seems to have little understanding with the defence. Don't see any harm in giving Gilks a run and see if he can organise those in front of him a bit better.
  7. Have Hibs yet announced what sanctions they will impose against the 'fans' who have already pleaded guilty to offences arising from the riot? Suspect we already know the answer.
  8. Think we lost one to the scum in the old Drybrough Cup many years back
  9. Exactly - given the circumstances this might just be the best result in our history
  10. Totally agree - it is not just the transformation in what we see on the pitch but also the total change in every aspect of the club from youth development through to boardroom level. We are well back on the road to being where Rangers should be and for that we can all be thankful and is not something that would necessarily have happened had we been promoted last year.
  11. I have lived and followed football in both Milan & Madrid as this 'tourist support' is a huge money spinner and something which we should maybe actively promote. They pay way over the odds for match tickets and spend fortunes on merchandise, although maybe that is not totally to our advantage at the moment.
  12. Isn't there something contradictory about Liewell The Jap being the guy who is leading Scotland's fight against an 'invite only' elite Champions League yet happily leads Septic into the exact same set up and intends to skip a PL weekend to do so? Anyone who thinks this is not the thin end of the wedge towards the invite only CL needs to think again and this mans conflict of interests is quite astounding. Time someone defined exactly where his loyalties lie although no doubt Thompson, Milne and the rest of his sycophants will see nothing wrong in his actions.
  13. Maybe the answer is a pay as you play deal for next season and see how that pans out. As previously stated, he was poorly coached by the previous regimes and the whole team were s**t scared of playing on artificial surfaces because McCoist did not like them, so hardly surprising we picked up so many injuries on them with players not being fully committed and that is what causes many injuries. Let's not forget his last game for Hearts was a man of the match display against Liverpool at Anfield, so there is ability there. As an attacking option he is a more viable threat than Clark.
  14. Magic Mark sounds like nobody else- others may try to imitate him but he is the one and only!!!!!
  15. That statement from the dark side condemning the Act was just typical hypocrisy - they begged a compliant SNP government to bring in legislation which they thought would favour them and then get in hysterics when that is not the case. Like it or not, we must obey the law and take the moral high ground in this instance- anything else reduces us to their level.
