Exactly.
People queried why Halliday was getting more game time... but Gerrard has seen him also in training and been impressed.
Sadiq just isnt doing what he has to.
3 assists for Halliday (I think), 2 goals for Middleton, Ejaria all over Ayr, and still Kent done enough to get motm.
Gone are the days of struggling to find one.
Now we struggle to agree on 1 of 4 or 5.
Deffo need to keep this up.
Not now.
No one fears them now and they are only ever capable of plan A.
Gerrard has given us one new thing that hasnt looked clear for years. 100% dedication from the whole team.
I gwt what @hammer93 is saying... i think.
Teams that talk the taigs up will probably lie down to them. Or be scared. Or both.
Only response we have to that is win our games and fuck the rest of them.
I said earlier how I was looking forward to the first post about our lineup.
There may be times where Im not confident about what the result will be (Europe for example)... but I am excited and confident in our team line up news now. Everyone is fighting. Subs bench doesnt worry my.
Today was the first time I can remember where no one sarcastically or truthfully said "Halliday is in our line up/ on the bench"... I was more pissed he didnt start.
McCrorie doesnt have a starting position in our team now with recent players in midfield putting in a shift. But his performance today made me doubt myself and think he should start more often.
Fuck Steven Gerrard for giving me confidence again. Im not used to this since days of Walter Smiths return...
The "non Celt*c side" have scored...
Regardless of whether it is us in Europe or Auchinleck Talbot v Rennes in a friendly.
When taigs score there is euphoria amongst all our media. Even ex Rangers players.
He said in an early game that he didnt want to always give a half time bollocking...
But that's about 5 games at least we have came out better second half and he must have done that.
It is frustrating for fans... fuck knows what it is like for Gerrard.
I thought he was poor last season.
Same with Halliday tbh.
But under Gerrard... Dorrans may be the attacking Dorrans we need (while Pedro had him in the unsuited holding mid role)
