  1. Only thing I have seen regarding this was the following tweet from Willie Vass And also someone replying to this tweet saying Chick Young had said that several cameras were stolen.
  2. Correct. At the club right now we simply don't have better defenders to replace poor performers and for the Cup Final we had lost our best option at DM. We can know where we are weak, we can try and learn from our mistakes but if the players aren't good enough, aren't learning from mistakes or are simply badly out of form, there isn't a lot we could do about it until a transfer window opens as we didn't have better options. Up until the December 19th we had conceded 16 goals in 24 games, not a great defensive record granted but for a new defence in a team that plays as open as we do, it isn't terrible, especially as we seemed to be getting better. From December 28th - March 11th we went on a 15 game unbeaten run, conceding only 1 goal every 2.14 games and beat Hibs, Falkirk, Raith, Kilmarnock and Dundee in he process. It was only after that 15 game unbeaten run that we started to collpase, we conceded 9 goals in the next 3 games and a total of 19 goals in the 10 games after the 15 unbeaten, we only managed to pick up 4 wins in those 10 games. Something clearly went wrong in the middle of March that saw the rest of our season become a bit of a shambles outside of winning the Old Firm game and expected wins against Peterhead in the Petrofac and home wins against QOTS and Dumbarton. Whatever those problems were, nothing that was done fixed them and we had no other options for defence, only now do we have the opportunity to fix that problem with the only likely solution left which is signing better players.
  3. I noticed that Waggy has retweeted the recent statement too.
  4. I've thought this too, especially the likes of Waggy, Tav, Wallace, Miller etc., whose kids will likely have been at the game in the hope we won and they got to be on the pitch celebrating with their dad and the trophy. While it's maybe unlikely that players will want to leave, especially the likes of Miller and Wallace, I can't imagine any of our players or their wives feeling comfortable enough to let their children on the pitch at any future cup final we compete in, why put their trust that those responsible can keep them safe? It's a real shame for those players, they should be able to share those kind of moments with their children, cup finals with my dad are great memories for me and we were only in the stands.
  5. Better quailty video here http://www.skysports.com/football/accrington-vs-morecambe/341128. It's the same clip I think, just better quality and no fake studio taking up most of the screen.
  6. See they started the highlights with a fictional story of a Celtic fan having a wash.
  7. Mark Warburton said Waghorn will be training this week and will hopefully play against Alloa. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make the bench for Wednesday.
  8. I don't think his attitude was ever questioned, just that he made a bad career choice. Warburton previously mentioned that Forrester made a bad decision by turning down a good offer to stay at Brentford when Warburton was manager, he turned them down and the move to Doncaster didn't turn out great as they got relegated while Brentford passed them on the way up. http://www.<No links to this website>/sport/football/football-news/mark-warburton-responds-kenny-shiels-7143143#yDUyxhwZZIHS5bKM.97
  9. Absolutely fantastic right from the word go today, by far the best result of the season. I know Dundee aren't an amazing team but this is a team that had only lost once all year in 11 games, only conceded 8 goals in those games and we hammered them, 4-0 was an escape for them.
  10. Should we be hanging on against QoS for a draw? When resources and finances are the base for judging matters, no, never, but that's just the way football goes sometimes, teams have off days or bad patches of form. Much better Rangers players and teams than this one have scraped results against worse teams than Queen of the South. Should we be sending out Hardie when waggy has been injured? Yes, If Mark Warburton doesn't think he currently brings more to the table than Kenny Miller or Nicky Clark. It's pointless to keep the boy here if he is unlikely to get game time, Mark Warburton watched him in training for 7 months before sending him out on loan and barely gave him any game time, yet has given Nicky Clark a decent amount, he obviously doesn't feel Ryan Hardie delivers enough yet and perhaps never will. Unless he is hugely impressive in his loan spell, I can't see him being a part of Warburtons plans going forward as you would imagine the quality of player at Ibrox will only continue to increase pushing him further down the pecking order. Should we have dipped in performance of late rather than improved? Its only the past few weeks in which we have had a dip in form and even then, it's more a lack of taking our chances. We have had 88 shots on goal in February but only scored 5 goals, 1 being a penalty. Had we taken more of our chances, performances wouldn't likely have been seen to have dipped by most. I think January was actually our most successful month of the season on paper. 5 wins out of 5, scored 18 goals and conceded 2, which I think is actually our best ratio of goals scored per game in any month this season, as well as our best ratio of goals conceded per game in any month this season. Should our possession stats = more goals? Yes but this isn't down to a lack of creativity or a lack of using the possession effectively. We are creating a lot of chances and we should be scoring more goals based on the number of chances we create. Does MW rely on his favourites despite bigging up his squad? I don't think so, opinion among fans is divided at best on those who are on our bench frequently instead of on the pitch, it's not a case of favourites, it's just those who make it on the pitch most often are seen as better players/performers. Looking at yesterday, our back 4 realistically only has one variation available outside of youth, our Midfield 3 consisted of 2 or 3 (depending on opinion) of our best performers this season, and our front 3 yesterday weren't exactly what you would call regular starters for us with Clark replacing Waghorn and King & O'Halloran only arriving in January. Are we incapable of killing of teams due to the lack of killer instinct? Again this goes back to the number of chances we create, I don't think it's a lack of a killer instinct, it's a lack of quality and composure in front of goal at times, hopefully something which will be addressed in the summer. Can he do better with the squad he has available? No, again, we should be beating most teams we play comfortably, the system and the game plan works well, it's a lack of quality in front of goal at times that is our main issue at times. We would have won most, if not all of our games in which we have had poor results this season if we were a bit more clinical. Against St Johnstone we had double the number of shots they had but lost 3-1. Against Morton we drew 2-2 at Ibrox, yet we had more than 3x the number of shots. We lost 2-1 to Falkirk and again had more than 3x the number of shots. Across the 2 games against Kilmarnock we had 36 shots to their 11 and only just snuck through in the last minute of the replay. Our most recent bad result last week against Alloa, we had 25 shots and 23 corners and yet drew 1-1
  11. I can see Miller getting a bit of a rest tomorrow, especially as neither King or O'Halloran can play against Kilmarnock.
  12. I just can't think of anyone outwith Stubbs or McInnes who would be in the frame unless Bolton sack Lennon . I doubt Moyes would touch the job unless he has given up on getting another English Premiership gig and anyone else worth having would likely involve compensation. Outwith an expensive option (which they won't go for), Lennon is the only one I can see preventing any timplosion. If their next manager is one of Stubbs, McInnes, Lennon, Lambert or even Moyes, I wouldn't be concerned in the slightest assuming Warburton gets the proper backing in the top flight.
