  1. I know this will attract criticism and probably even ridicule but reluctantly I feel compelled to voice my feelings. I seen only the first half of Saturday's game on my iPad due to various technical issues my provider was experiencing. As a result I wasn't even aware of the extent of the sickening sectarian displays put on by the IRAceltic scum. I had stayed away from all television coverage and media content deliberately until last night when I decided to check out some of the regular sports media I use. To my astonishment I seen the pictures dipicting the hanging of Rangers fans and Orangemen alongside the plethora of other hate and war inciting banners etc. What really set me off though was the lack of reporting and condemnation of it by the vast array of sources who consistently go out of their way to attack and demonise Rangers fans for the slightest of misdemeanour. Its been a long time since I've felt anger and rage like it. My wife was witness to emotions in me she has rarely if ever seen, I was physically shaking with rage. Those pictures of the hanging and the subsequent lack of condemnation have evoked feelings within me that I don't want or need resurfacing in my life. Time after time after time we ( Rangers fans, Protestants, Unionists, British ) whatever title we fit are demonised, attacked and treated as sub human criminals by IRAceltic, their republican juggernaut and their complicit media and politicians. Every aspect of our existence, culture, beliefs and heritage is constantly under attack. Yet we have a clubs fans IRAceltic ( unlike no other ) whose continuous and ever increasing despicable acts of pure and deliberate sectarian hatred and incitements of violence which go unchallenged, unpunished and even condoned? I grew up in East Belfast through the troubles and have experienced the carnage and social destruction that sectarianism and bigotry does so I'm far from an over sensitive soul. Norn Iron has largely albeit not entirely moved on from that now but things are majorly transformed. Scotland however is poison beyond belief. I find the levels of allowance and the collaboration of so many haters right across the country towards us astonishing and the lack of people challenging this deplorable imbalance hard to comprehend. After this latest in what is such a long line of incidents perpetrated against our club and our people I simply cannot accept it unchallenged anymore. I'm sick of it, I'm tired of it, I'm done with it. Its supposed to be about football which is the reason I support Rangers but everything that surrounds the club from our enemies is about anything but football. Glasgow and Belfast may share some obvious cultural similarities but I can assure you that the Unionist communities in Belfast and across Northern Ireland would never accept the disgraceful state of affairs you accept and live in in Glasgow. How to hell have you all allowed things to get to the point of being treated as sub human, klan like social degenerates without any retribution? I'm not particularly knowledgable in Scottish politics and dynamics but surely there is some sort of structure or organisation out there to represent the Unionist / Loyalist / Protestant / British people of Scotland? Rangers football club won't die but I assure you that clubs future is in jeopardy because the fans of the club will die off and won't be replaced in adequate numbers by future generations. How will any young football fan out with Glasgow ever be attracted to Rangers in the future? Although my current (7troop) username suggests I am relatively new on here the reality is I have been a member of Rangersmedia under a previous name since 2007/2008 ish. I have belonged to various groups / organisations and played an active role in defending our traditions in many different ways through the years but have just become so disillusioned with the lack of mobility and response from other Rangers fans and groups, particularly those based in Glasgow combined with the shameful actions of the Scottish media, government, police force and the many other haters. When the only weapon of response or deterrent in your arsenal is Statements then you know your in trouble. Those years of dignified silence and ignoring the enemy has led to this point. Sleeping when we should have been wide awake. Im prepared for the accusations that'll come my way on here over this but I just wish someone at the club would read the underlying message in my feelings, because I'm not alone.
  2. The whole fight was a set up to an extent. Hearn is a money grabbing, shit talking knob head who constantly exploits boxing fans. The reason it looked like Brook gave GGG a decent fight was because he deliberately emptied his tank in the first 5 rounds. Brook was able to make it look competitive for a few rounds simply because he used up 10 or 12 rounds of energy in 5 rounds which he knew he could never sustain. He knew that marketing wise he was in a win win position regardless of win or lose due to the way Hearn and his media pawns would spin it. GGG just done his job and fought at a legitimate pace which he would've sustained for 12 rounds if necessary and it was more than enough. Any top professional can go out and throw lots of big power shots with a high output and look good for several rounds from fresh if they don't intend going 12 rounds. Brooks game plan was to go out and try and knock GGG out and if it doesn't work and he starts to ship punishment then they will pull him out. 100%. Hearn and Brooks camp had this set up from the start and the poor fans who paid good money on tickets and pay per view were short changed once again. Hearns claims about Brook being ahead on the official score cards also is either total fabrication or total farcical. He's a money grabbing leech.
  3. Well done idiots, now they get their toilets nicely redecorated and paid for by Rangers and our reputation gets trailed through the mud in the media again. That really helps the club.
  4. I still believe that there is good talent in our squad, albeit not in defence. The problem is that talent isn't being utilised properly, square pegs in round holes etc. Hopefully MW starts to see what we can and makes the necessary adjustments. We made them look good today, Barcelona will put more perspective on it.
  5. Set pieces? You might as well be speaking Mandarin because no one at Auchenhowie understands what that is.
  6. You may we'll have a point but we'd have had a better chance at playing the way we are most effective and would've caused them more problems. We sat off and surrendered possession thus letting them control the tempo and make more chances against a defence that can't defend? Why not do what we do best and have a go with pace and creativity instead of setting up with the disastrous formation and tactics we did? No logic in it at all.
  7. If he had lined up with- ------------------------Foderingham---------------------- Tav----------------Senderos------Wilson---------Wallace -------Windass-----------Barton----------Halliday-------- Forrester---------------Waghorn-------------McKay-------- We would've put them on the back foot so much more and certainly wouldn't have lost 5-1.
  8. A brilliant professional and lovely guy, really talented footballer but unfortunately he can't compete athletically anymore as his legs are gone. Sad to see but I think it's unfair on him and a bit of a bad judgement call from those who brought him in. People kept saying about his fitness etc but I knew it wasn't fitness. As an IFA licensed football coach myself who watches loads of games I have seen it so many times and the confirmation was there for me from game one.
  9. Barton was found out, as was Niko. Both have quality no doubt but Barton shit himself at times and his touches were awful, same with Niko. In an atmosphere like today you need the quality senior players to be calm and composed on the ball and use their experience. In the first half both Barton and Niko on several occasions failed to control simple balls and were overrawed rather than composed. Ive said for weeks now, Niko isn't unfit, he just doesn't have the legs anymore. He still has elements of class and can still hit a great shot or pass etc but he can't compete athletically anymore. Against inferior opposition he can get away with it but not at a higher faster level. Sad to see and I honestly don't blame MW for signing either of them as in theory they are both good signings. Unfortunately neither of them will be here beyond this season.
  10. Anyone looking at the Rangers starting line up would've seen that we were in big trouble today. 2 Big slow central defenders , one who has been shocking consistently and one unconvincing signing who's making his debut in an old firm fixture. Then in front of them 2 slow midfielders at the wrong end of their careers who dramatically and negatively impact the way we play. ( Barton, Krancjar ). Add in an aging Miller deployed out of position on the right wing and Barry McKay who is out of form and so predictable lately? Up top he plays a new striker who is primarily a box player in a game where we would create few chances. Players were poor no doubt about it but this all stems from really poor management. Hate to have to criticise MW like this because I think he's been brilliant and done so much for us but it's 100% his fault.
  11. If you are going to utilise an attacking philosophy like MW does then you need to select the right players and go out and attack. Don't try and fill places with players that are slow or not natural to those positions. Play your strongest team, your fastest most clinical players in their normal roles and go for it. Absolute disaster and embarrassment.
