  1. What a line up. That midfield takes on any midfield in the world and gives a good account of itself. We've been spoiled with some outstanding players over the years.
  2. I think thats the stage we're at with injuries and a horrendous Europa League squad list legacy from Beale. The B team kids will probably be there for the experience or to fill up the bench i would imagine.
  3. Did that with Matt Le Tissier once at Glasgow airport. My ex messaged him on twitter saying i bottled talking to him as he was a hero of mine growing up. His reply? Tell him to stop being a pussy 🤣
  4. Hopefully McCausland makes it. The alternative would either be a change in shape to a narrower formation with the fullbacks providing the width, or playing either Silva or Sterling out wide, which I wouldn't want as i think we need Sterling more centrally.
  5. Spot on. The differences in the two guys couldn't be more different. Gio will be welcomed back to the club by the fans any time. He gave it his best shot and held himself with the dignity of a Rangers manager. Also got us to a European final. Beale is classless and was never Rangers manager material
  6. I get the impression there's only so much they can do fitness and conditioning wise mid season. Will be good to see what Clement does with a proper pre-season, see what the levels are like next season.
  7. The long diagonals seem to catch out both Souttar and Goldson. Balogun seems to cope a little better with them, but he's not the most reliable with injuries.
  8. Young person in using social media shocker, as the headline would say
  9. Aye, we're apparently a sectarian club but have had more catholics, muslims etc than they have in recent years 🤣 It's about pushing a narrative
  10. As one person said, they don't want the correct decisions, they want ALL the decisions in their favour. Never known anything like them.
  11. And when they spout that nonsense, why doesn't anybody in the media remind them they've had free access to titles for 12 years
  12. I don't think they seriously will have thought they could win that appeal tbh. What it does though is further their grievance and whatever agenda they're pushing.
  13. Aye i found the transfer fee a bit weird, as you don't normally see MLS teams pay those kind of transfer fees. No way he was worth £8m anyway.
  14. The biggest bit i'm not keen on is that there is no drop down .It's putting the focus firmly on finances and it benefits the top teams in Europe as usual, and clubs like us outside the top tier won't get any success in the Champions League but will get a wee pat on the head and a few extra revenue millions.
  15. Yeah, neither of them (Iwata or Lundstram) are penalties in my eyes but the issue is with the handball rule while they are making it out like it's an issue of bias.
  16. Mental how bad they are. On the verge of losing automatic qualification and we've made a final and got out of the groups more often than not in Europa.
  17. Just read there that they've appealed the sending off and have written to the sfa regarding the use of VAR and "decisions made during the match". It'll be interesting to see what the outcome is, and to find out how fucked or not the game is up here.
  18. Even wee McCann was getting it from a couple on here yesterday, who for me is one of the fairest of our ex players but also calls it as he sees it without being a wind up.
  19. He's in the same position Boyd was in while he was still playing, he had to toe the line a bit and not go too hard on players until he retired. Different animal is Boydy now.
  20. Their entitlement is off the scale with their reaction as well. Imagine it happened at parkhead? There would be full scale government enquiries 🤣
  21. It's mental the gymnastics people are trying to do in order to say the red wasn't a red. High boot, intended or not, is endangering an opponent. That should be it, end of story.
  22. Thats what doesnt sit well with me, their fans have had an issue with Beaton for a number of years now, and Rodgers knew exactly what he was doing there, on two counts. First, they're doing their usual ramping up pressure on referees when they don't get it all their way. They've had their decisions for the season in one game go against them, i wouldnt be surprised if they get a couple of controversial decisions go their way next week. Secondly it puts real pressure on Beaton and paints a target on him. I bet my last pound that he won't be anywhere near one of their games for a few weeks now, and i also bet we wont hear a peep from the SFA and SPFL now about putting referees in danger. Rodgers should be hung out to dry for his unprofessionalism there but for some reason is lauded in some quarters
  23. That wee ferret face gets away with challenges like that all the time
  24. I will say one thing for them, their PR machine wastes no time in resetting the narrative.
