  1. Get Barton tae fuck. Comes in talks a lot but doesn't back it up. A billy big boots with no respect for the tradition of the club. He is really one of them anyway. The magic hat should have stuck to his values of only signing players of good character, signing him was a mistake. If it was Halliday he squared up to then hope Andy got him well told. Need more Halliday's and less carpet baggers like Barton
  2. Cheers m8. This getting allocated game by game is rubbish. Is everyone person on away CCS entered in the ballot for every game or how does it work. It just seems so random, some people have had no games others have had three.
  3. Anyone ITK have an idea when the ballot will be for the game against them. Didn't get Dundee or Kilmarnock so I am crossing my fingers that my chances are improved of getting a ticket against them.
  4. I think Danny Wilson is often the unlucky whipping boy for many in our support. Can't figure out why. He puts in a shift, is comfortable with the ball at his feet for a CH. Liverpool paid us a good few million for him when he was a youngster so he clearly has something about him. No sure what more some people want from the boy. Kiernan on the other hand is not a Rangers quality CH at all. Total bomb scare.
  5. IMO has to be Wilson with Senderos. Wilson seems to take undeserved flak from elements of our support, but the guy is quality. He strolled through the game yesterday, made several good passes. Wilson good ball playing CH with Senderos for the rough, no nonsense side of things.
  6. I understand our proud history and reasons why as a support we expect to win the league but we need to take into account the strange circumstance we find ourselves in ,after what has happened over the past 4 years. We do not have a god given right to win things and circumstances are such that we do not have nearly the budget the Taigs do and are trying to bed in several new players. Surely finishing 2nd in our first year back and hopefully winning a cup would be a good year. Would luv to beat the scum a few times and hopefully get drawn against the HIV's in the Scottish cup.
  7. I know Bears R us, its strange the anti Wilson sentiment amongst our support. At a young age he captained a Hearts side that strolled the championship, has come back to us and played really well against the Taigs in the semi. Considering the pressure our CB's are under due to our style of play I think he has done extremely well. Wilson keeps the ball moving can pick a decent pass (ok some go astray but that happens to every ball playing CB). Not sure what more he has to do to get elements of our support of his back.
  8. Wilson is a much better technical footballer than Kiernan. Better passer, reads the game ok for a relatively youngish player. Saved us a couple of times yesterday. Remember Liverpool paid us a good few million to get Wilson a few years back so they must have seen something in the laddie. Get a big rugged no nonsense CH and team him up with Wilson the more ball playing, gifted CH.
  9. Finally someone brings some sense to the discussion.
  10. so let me get this right any bear that doesn't just blindly state we are gonna win the league is fucked in the head. Never mind facts, squad depth, experience. I want us to win the league (stating the bleeding obvious) but it is actually ok to think that we might not be good enough or consistent enough quite yet. Ask an Arsenal fan do you want to win the league, they obviously say yeah. Ask them do you think you will win the league they might say no because they struggle to win games up north in the cold etc, or have a weak underbelly and so on
  11. Love the optimism and hope maybe I have been too cautious in setting that target in my own mind. Maybe I have under estimated how strong our squad will be or over estimated how good the opposition will be. If there is money still to spend and it seems like there might be then an out and out quality striker is critical. Someone to partner Wilson in centre of defence will be key as well. U guys have all got me actually thinking about what it will be like if we can get number 55. wow.
  12. Iam excited and expect a good season but surely you have to acknowledge we will be making several new signings that will take time to gel as a unit this is one factor that might prevent us from winning it this year. I also worries about not having an out and out pure goal scorer like the taigs have in the thumb. I mean KM has been a fantastic for us, hard working, etc but at 36 should only really be a super sub type. Maybe we will sign a top notch striker at which point the title looks a bit more realistic.
  13. Point is that its a step up in the quality of opponent we will be facing. U really believe that over 38 games we will be consistent enough and take enough points at places like Pittordrie and Tynescastle to win the league. Well I hope your right but seeing all this talk of trebles and we are gonna win the league etc makes me think some people have got a bit ahead of themselves in estimating where our recovery is
  14. Lets face it m8 Pittordrie and Tynecastle are a bit tougher away days than Alloa and Dumbarton.
