  1. A good statement but no matter what the rags write about us, some so-called supporters will STILL continue to buy it. It's ludicrous. The blatant lies after the SC semi-final should have stopped them buying it there and then...it didn't. What a job I had to try and convince someone who should know better, to stop buying it. It should have been easy, but some are creatures of habit and some are as thick as the proverbial two short planks. A good paper many, many years ago. Now? Let it die!
  2. Heartbreaking hearing this. Rest easy wee man. Thoughts with family and friends.
  3. One of many that aren't good enough for us. He's been with us a long time, gave us some good memories (a few bad ones too tbh) and I wish the lad well. I hope he goes on and has a great career, hopefully earning us a sell on payment in the process. Good luck son.
  4. Easy solution...civil war. Us against the loud mouthed, smelly peados and the many Rangers haters. Destroy them. Re-claim and cleanse the country. Sometimes there's unavoidable collateral damage, but I'm sure the deodorant manufacturers will survive. Sounds okay in my head anyway Or, maybe we could try standing up for ourselves and shoot the Rangers haters down when they come out with their predictable, nonsensical garbage on a daily basis. This riles me more than anything at the club at the moment, even after 'that' defeat. It's went on for so long. We will bounce back eventually, but the slur on our great club has to stop now. I'm sick of this.
  5. Sincere best wishes to your gran mate (and to you too). You just know she'd love the open day. I hope she's well enough soon to make it and get the day she deserves. Brilliant from the club and Pedro in particular.
  6. I wish you well Andy. Good luck! Not the most gifted player but gave his all and got to live the dream too. You never know, he may come back a different player.
  7. Too right mate. Some people are only happy when they're moaning, if you get my drift. They're dicks, they know they're dicks and presumably they like being dicks.
  8. More good news for us Bears. Well pleased with that and I hope Pedro is too. It's getting interesting.
  9. Ta for the link. Pedro really ought to stop playing Waghorn as it's virtually an embarrassment for him every time he plays. I KNOW I could be scoring more goals than him from the chances created and I haven't kicked a ball in plenty years. Could he not be better used painting the stadium or suchlike until someone is stupid enough to take him? Kranjcar is a bit slow as some have stated in previous threads but he's certainly got a great football brain and touch as we know. Some of his passing in last weeks game was sublime, no matter the opposition. Wonderful control over the defence splitting passes.
  10. Good news Not used to all of this. Things are starting to take shape now at long last.
  11. I'm well pleased with this and with the other stuff that's happening too. How it should be of course.
  12. Cheers for that mate...enjoyed it We just can't get away from the weirdos though can we? What a mob they are.
  13. Good show that. First for a wee while and enjoyed it. Their enthusiasm rubs off on you. Even Gogzy made an appearance. Apparently he doesn't discuss appearance fees so I'm not sure how much he got for it.
  14. Agree with all of the above. All helpful feedback and great first post. Thanks for your efforts!
  15. These are the kind of guys you want to see make it in the game, which is a million miles from some of the chancers we see who don't seem to have any grasp on reality, or realise how fortunate they truly are to live the dream. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/dani-alves-juventus-the-secret/
  16. Good to see you and the gang are still entertaining the troops Oxger. I've not been in for a while, but I'll make a point of trying to pop in sometime tonight. I'll wear my Bermuda shorts since it's a summer special. Good listen guys for those of you who haven't listened before. http://www.rangersradio.online/
  17. Well pleased with this as this is the sort of calibre a player we need. Plenty of character too and that's got to rub off on the players around him. It's such a lift after some of the dross we've had to endure in the last few years and other potential signing targets can also take note of our intent, maybe making it a little easier to land them as well. Nice one Pedro!
  18. Thanks for that. That was a brilliant read...really enjoyed it. I'm glad you and your mates had such a great time and came back with memories to savour for the rest of your lives.
  19. Here's hoping. The more media men and soap dodgers the better.
  20. That's a good question...I'm not ancient but I don't think it would. They would both have great significance in our history and both would stay in or memories until the day we die I'd imagine. Winning the ECWC was a huge part of my life as a Rangers supporter of course and when we get our 55th title, it's going to me memorable for so many reasons. We'll celebrate that throughout the world and it will tell every man and his dug that we're back to where we belong (and intend to stay there). There will also be quite a few people, maybe even so called 'journalists' or 'football pundits' queuing up to lob themselves of the Erskine Bridge like lemmings too. Which would be nice. Roll on 55!
  21. I remember it so clearly too, listening it it on the radio with my dad. It was the proverbial 'nail-biter' and we went crazy when the final whistle eventually came. Got a smile on my face just thinking of it again. A truly wonderful memory. I wasn't allowed to go because of my age but my brother and his mate went and loved it. Well, apart from the scenes they saw regarding the Spanish coppers as they waded into anyone who didn't move with batons, whether one the pitch, or in the streets. I did get to The Super Cup tournament the year after though in Barcelona which was good but nowhere near what the ECWC final would have been. I think the clubs were Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax and Rangers. Way back in the good old days when I was a lad.
  22. Just logged on and saw this bullshit. I guess this is from the usual suspect then? Absolute garbage from the gossip columnist/s once again in my opinion. Why would we offer a detailed list to all and sundry? It makes no sense whatsoever. Some agents would have been told individually regarding their players futures, but that would be it. I'm sure Pedro will have drawn up a list of his own regarding who may leave/may come in, but suggesting Rangers are offering this list to clubs is ridiculous. I'm also tired of the amount of rubbish that 'everyone in the know' is spewing out already, when probably 95% (or more) of them are simply attention seeking pricks (some will know something) and now this. Strap yourself in because it's only going to get worse. I hate this time of the year.
  23. Maybe he's going to play all four goalkeepers and seven outfield players (all defenders). I've gave up on Scotland (which as sad), the SFA bar stewards years ago and trying to understand Strachan too. Anyway, it might be broonaldos selection since he's running the show now. We're a joke now.
