H&H Nonce FC Analysis/Welcome Back RK
StaunchLondonGer replied to BridgeIsBlue's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
cheers mate. always appreciate you posting these. Don't mind hearing a bit of analysis on yesterday now that we've got RK back in the fold! -
tbf mate he did run at defenders on edge of box a few times trying to find a way through, particularly first half. It was too congested to get any joy.
-
Completely wastes opportunities from good positions with shite deliveries. Managed to curve a corner behind the fucking goal today.
-
No mate, you're right. Let's put a call in to Warbs. See if he's in a "good place".

At least Mcgregor can be relied upon
StaunchLondonGer replied to StaunchLondonGer's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Sounds good pal 🙂 But if I had one player to switch from our past I'd be keeping Shagger where he is and bringing in Laudrup! -
Defoe has been just as clinical as Morelos since joining us. Defoe has the experience, Alfredo the youth. It's a moot point for today's game though. Neither can score without decent service.
-
Hope he gets it back mate. If it gets found you'd expect he will.

Really mate? It's a one-on-one with a quality striker at a perfect angle with the goal gaping. Always 80/20 the striker should score in that one. Go down sooner and he gets chipped. He tried to make himself big till the last second. -

Thought he did more than that tbh. He's always right up for it against the scum and was best man on the park for us along with Davis imo. says a lot really. Rat loyal! -
Gerrard bottled fuck all. He got it badly wrong today granted and hopefully that's the last time we fail to go for the jugular against these unwashed cunts from the first whistle. But he's got bottle in spades and will rise to the challenge against Lemon any day.
-
Hopefully a blip. We're better than that today.
-
Thank fuck for him basically. Several first class reaction saves at close range that kept us in it. One of only a few that consistently deliver their A-game on the big occasions.

Rangers possible third charge ( confirmed as false)

bheggars belief -
Always worth starting a thread on this imo. We should try to keep the topic on the agenda. I totally understand the response of "fuck that, they don't want us, it'll never happen". But to try to argue that it wouldn't be a fantastic thing for the club is ridiculous.
-
They love the word rebel (rebel songs etc). Not an option imo
-
Hopefully more will follow and the wider media will give it due coverage. It's high time for the celtic "brand" to be taken to account and appraised accordingly in the eyes of the British public.

Rangers Fans Praised by Danish police
StaunchLondonGer replied to BLUEDIGNITY's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Absolutely, it's sickening. And we all know that the REAL problem we have as Rangers fans is appeasement. We have appeased these people for far too long now. And all the while they have eaten into the fabric of our society (our press, our politics, our governing body) to create an agenda against us. The only thing these people understand and respect is force. We as a club need to stand the fuck up to them at every opportunity. -

Remarkable the difference in perception of our proud support between a nice (unbiased) town overseas and the bitter ingrates we have to contend with at every turn in our own country. -
or on "Fergie Time" at Man U. Any consistent champions know they need to be grinding out the 3pts with late goals in games like todays.
-
Actually think Kent could be the difference between a serious title challenge and another disappointing season. He brings the class and creativity we need in that area.

Young Bears - Visible Signs of Confidence?

haha I think she did more than enough of that mate. -
Daughter's just back from her hols (week long club-fest with her pals on a Greek island I'd never heard of) As is customary I got her to keep a tally of Gers tops to scum tops over the week and we came out on top for the first time (this is their 3rd year of going away) 7 of ours to 4 of theirs. Plus she got chatting to one of the female reps who turned out to be a wee Bearette too. Small sample, granted, but I reckon it shows a bit of confidence returning to our ranks. In recent years wearing our colours in that environment would just be asking for brain dead gloating from the inbreds but they're not quite so sure of themselves or their TIAR now. Of course, what really matters is doing the business on the pitch and securing 55. But confidence breeds success and it's nice to see the tide is turning.
-
I'd like to see him fucking own the captaincy a bit more this season when it's a stubborn, niggly, defensive Kilmarnock team sapping the life out of us tbh.
-
Was bitterly disappointed in Davis last season. McGregor quickly put the bad memories to rest with outstanding save after outstanding save, but the return of Davis was only marginally less underwhelming than return of Kris Boyd. He just looked a shadow of his former self. Hope you're right though, if he gets back to what he was then we're fucking laughing.
