This whole penalties "controversy" is a fuckin joke. The three penalties that we got that have seen the opposition managers complaining were all shirt pulls in the penalty box. A shirt pull is a foul. A foul in the penalty box is a penalty. The biggest complaint naismith and robson had seemed to be that it occurred in the last minutes. So what. It doesnt matter when it happens, its a penalty. Rather than have a go at the reffs they would be better explaining to their thick defenders that VAR will see these things now and not to do it.

Since Clement has came in lundstram has been our best player, and our best midfielder by a fair distance. If he can keep this form up he is worth a new deal for sure, just not on the money he is currently on. At this stage of his career he will find it hard to get a deal like the one he is on now.

To be fair Cifuentes at least looked the other night like he might actually have something to contribute. The other two though, oh for fucks sake.

Unbelievable really. Or maybe not. Par for the course this last couple of year. I know he missed those chances the other night but i actually really like him as a player. To me he looked like he just needed a game where he got a couple of goals and he would of been flying. We wont know now.

We couldve and shouldve won about 3 nil anyway, i thought there were some more than decent performances. Sima for his goal, cantwell bringing the ball up the park 2nd half, cifu when he came on, mcausland pretty good all game, sterling when he came on, lundstram until towards the end when he was fucked. It should have been comfortable but the main thing is the points.
