In a sense I agree that it is celtic that we must overhaul. They are still the strongest squad in the league and have the funds to improve it in January. Hearts will drop points but not enough to be overhauled by Rangers, they currently have the best defensive record in the league while our defence is shakey. Nevertheless, fate dictates that Lafferty will score on Sunday.

Why do BBC Scotland continue to big-up Gerrard with its "Promoted Livingston stunned Rangers to consign Steven Gerrard to just his second defeat in 18 games as manager of the Ibrox club." headline? It would appear that everything is rosy.

Nevin is now a Hibby dontcha know. The 'pundit' that irks me the most is yon taig publishist Paki Bonnar who is only used by the BBC to provide biased coverage of his employer's games.

As it was Gollum, I was surprised McGregor wasn't red-carded and then getting it recinded by appeal. We were lucky. As for Rogic, football is still a contact sport and too much has been made of the Jack challenge.

No doubting the alegiances of both Lafferty and McAuley but are these really Gerrard signings?

Did Gerrard do his homework on Lafferty before signing him or was it a decision made outwith his hands. For all his height, Lafferty is not a target man, cannot hold up the ball and invariably gets his feet tangled up under him. He needs to be played through the middle and not wide left (or right). Not sure Lafferty and Morelos will be the best strike force, maybe it is either or. Hearts were playing Lafferty as first substitute and maybe Gerrard should do the same.

The only problem is ourselves. Win all the home fixtures with none of the away fixtures difficult. If Hearts are still unbeaten when they come to Ibrox then we burst their bubble.

The media hyped up the team to where they were considered equal to the taigs. Maybe Gerrard believed the hype but we were beaten by a better side.

Gerrard has still a lot to learn in management and will likely lose more games during the season. My main gripe is that he was relying on the defence keeping a clean sheet, in which case why play Lafferty as the headless chicken. I am still hurting as I expected so much more from the team.

Let's not forget that he was appointed on a short term basis after Pedro was axed and then extended by the board until the end of the season. He should never have been put in a position by the board that he was clearly not experienced for.

Has King not got his financial hands tied behind his back by the RSA courts and the RSA tax man whereby his declaration of poverty to them would be found out to be a lie if he invested/loaned money to the club resulting in a prison sentence. I believe he does love the club and has good intentions towards it but the precarious position of his business in RSA is impacting on what he can and cannot do as Chairman of Rangers. Maybe he just has to bite the bullet and hand over the reins.

My issue is with his appointment in tne first place. No experience of Scottish football or its conditions and then wastes millions on players from sunny climates that cannot fit in. But most of all there is no system apart from the passback from front to back. sure we need to walk before we can run, but this is crawling. At this rate we will be fighting for 3rd with the likes of Hearts, Hibs, Saints and Well. Not really good enough and no easy fix either. Scunnered.

I agree with you in respect to lack of funds. For us to realistically challenge every season we need someone at the helm with more financial clout than King. Would the club be adverse to welcome Middle East or Asian money?

A new dawn. I know nothing about the man. WELCOME anyway. Not sure what a guy who has been out of European football for 6 years brings to the table, as I doubt he can make a slik purse out of Warburton's squad. Nevertheless best of luck.

On current form with this squad, we will get caught by Hearts (although they are just as poor) but who knows what will happen if the Board appoints the right man. However, my gut feeling is that Murty will stay in charge until the summer, when there will be a clear out.

Too many players who were used to playing against poor defending championship sides. Now they believe they are Billy Bigbaws and just have to turn up for a win. The club needs re-building from the roots up and certainly not by building a squad full of lower league players and loanees. Another pitiful effort again today.

2nd don't win you anything in this league. If we do finish 2nd with this squad then it is only due to the other 10 teams dropping points against each other.

At home, does Warburton keep to his usual tactics? Without the Tynecastle crowd behind them they will not be so cocky and their defence will leak goals. Regardless of a new team in the dugout I feel that the confidence from the Sheep result will make good. 3-0 for me.
