I'm happy that we keep the morale high ground on the fact that we respect the fact that Britain was at war! However, it should not be totally dismissed if the SFA and the rest of the scumbags were to ever try and take away any of our current titles.

Actually thought this post was a joke! As a defender your main objective is not to concede goals. If I was a centre half playing for the Bears just now, I would be giving both full backs a hard time, especially Tavernier. How many times have you seen Tavernier just jog back after losing the ball in the opposition's half? As for man marking when actually defending, I don't think he knows how to defend. Looks good on the eye when going forward but that's not his main role in the team. Tav is never a defender and I think we've seen the best of Wallace.

A right back is a priority for me, from a defensive point of view. I think we need to give the new strikers a chance, therefore don't play Waghorn. No more signings unless they're quality.

Agree totally! Too much emphasis on playing this formation and that. Like Souness did, we got the spine sorted, everyone knew their roles in the team and we built from there. Alves will be key as you need to build from the back.

What a difference a week makes. Last Thursday at work felt like when you were a kid on Christmas Eve. The home leg couldn't come quickly enough, less than a week later and all the "feel good" factor has gone! I thought I would have got more of a hard time from all the Jungles at work, but I think some of them are actually getting bored of taking the piss!

I understood the logic for getting Weir and Warburton in, with what they did in the Championship. However, I can't understand why we went for Pedro. I hope to be proved wrong but unless there's a dramatic change in the first two months of the season, I think Murty could be in the dugout again at the Girodome!

Ideally the Captain should be the centre half or centre midfield if they have the right qualities. Not necessarily one of the best players but one who takes control of situations and communicates. Bruno Alves is a no brainer for the next Captain and I think Ryan Jack will be in the frame in the future.

For me I'd keep Hudson and take the money for Taverner, never a right back! If Pedro insist with playing Tav, I hope big Bruno gets a grip of him and explains his defensive duties....

If he's not in the manager's plans, there's no point keeping him at the club, doesn't matter how talented he is. If we get between £500,000 and £750,000, it's better than nothing, plus Pedro doesn't have to explain why Barry is training with the under 20s every week!

We need to score early, always exposed at the back with Tav, so could be a long night otherwise. If we get one early, think we'll get a few.
