Had a decent game against motherwell and hes been a terrific player but his best days are behind him sadly. I wouldn't play him on sat as the game would only pass him by as he wouldn't get time in the midfield to play.

The way this board operates they will have decided to promote Billy Kirkwood from the youth team.

You are right about King wanting out I heard on good authority from people well connected while we were in the championship he was interested in listening to an offer from some supposedly american investor (can't remember his name now) but it never panned out. Could be all nonsense but I doubt it of what information that's came my way in the past and it's been right.

Murty has to take some of the blame given he picks the team and the buck stops with him but the main problem is the players. Put it simply they are nowhere good enough far from it the majority would be good for the likes of hearts hibs etc but not us. They don't have the stuff made of them to play for Rangers and that's the bottom line. If a new manager comes in they will realise this aswell and will insist on funds to strengthen the squad greatly.

I would take anyone to invest in Rangers at the moment and that includes Ashley if he wanted to put millions into my club. We are going nowhere under the current board and it's going to take proper investment to get us back on top.

Had my season ticket for 30 years and I won't be renewing next year. I've seen my fair share of highs and lows watching Rangers over that period but these past few years have been tough. I'll still go to the odd game but won't be going to every match.

Without money we are fucked we are never going to compete with that lot as they have acquired a squad to compete in this league and have strength and depth. The way this board do things on the cheap the only way we will become genuine title contenders is if we get lucky with some bargain basement players at a fairly low cost. The majority of the players we have already aren't good enough, sure they will pull some cracking wins out the bag but they can't do it over a full season when it matters.

I'd rather have him in the squad than being loaned out to some mob in Azerbaijan and have him as an option than not at all. Agreed I don't think he's good enough to start and that's why he would be on the bench for me but it gives you more competition for places and who knows under Murty he might kick on.

Might actually be a good idea to recall him for back up incase Jack,Dorrans or McCorrie pick up injuries or suspensions. While on the subject I'd recall Forrester as I feel he's a better player than some of the players who we have in the squad like Dalcio and Nemane.
