Modern football is different from 30 years or so ago.
We just need professionals who take pride in their work, who listen to instructions from the manager and give it their all. It’s not a requirement that they are supporters but if it’s possible to get that as well it’ll give them that 10% more determination in each game.
Being able to handle pressure isn’t something you get by being a Rangers fan.

Football as a holes went to the shit over the years. Bring back the glory days of the late 90s and early 2000s when Football was great.

Would be better with genuinely non-OF voices such as other SPFL managers like Robinson, Kettlewell or Montgomery.
Even McInnes and Levein, while not totally neutral for differing reasons, would be less rabid than Sutton or Stewart.

Difference is Boyd isn’t on commentary. And you do get pundits like McCoist and Miller who have played for the OF and can remain somewhat impartial whilst commenting and given an honest opinion on the game.
Why even bother with Sutton or Stewart. Already know what they’re going to say.
