Dave has done a great job - this is clearly a roll of the dice at an exit plan though, if we the fans don’t take it up he will be have clear conscience to accept any other offer. It’s a tall order to expect club 1872 to get enough engagement to do it. I’d prefer registered fans be given the opportunity to buy individually at the prescribed price and limits. Perhaps the credentials to buy could be existing season ticket holders or Mygers members only as of 1st December 2020.

My understanding is club1872 will have option to buy their allocation keeping % the same. What I would say is that they need a lot of supporter engagement to pull this off successfully. The PR machine will need to start asap

I think it has to be a positive thing. As someone posted earlier, it’s a good mix as the share holding will be large enough to stop or at least strongly influence against any potentially damaging decisions in the future but nowhere near a majority whereby heart over head fan decisions might equally damage our progress too. For Mr King it is a handy exit strategy and timed well when we are all feeling positive about the future. Optimistic loyal here

I don’t think it was that.. it just intimated the high press was the tactic and we had no outball. More experienced managers more than likely notice they’ve got it wrong and change it after 20 minutes or so eg Mourinho, advocaat etc. I think it was clear for most to see the lineup and tactics were a shot in the foot today. I see the whole situation now as the club have a massive demand for tickets and a huge waiting list and they know that income could be increased a fair bit with more full price STs as opposed to kids one. in my experience, if you want an adult mate to use your kids card just pop into the ticket office and pay the upgrade. When you present the card on the day it will show the correct light at the turnstyle with no issues. I have done it with a couple of games last season including the OF. Club gets the upgrade money and no issues, I would expect that to continue with this new system unless anyone has heard different?

Think he’s being managed and developed properly like most of the top clubs do with their youth these days. Introduced when required then dropped back to develop again further. It keeps them hungry and also shows the wider group there is a pathway but they haven’t yet ‘made it’ Played reasonably well tonight against a Queens Park side that played with ten behind the ball for much of the game. Final ball still needs to be better though.

Yep the boy is a real talent and hopefully will only get better. Always looking for the forward pass and makes good quick decisions.

Home games against the teams that sit in are definitely a hard watch. Frustrating watching the build up and lack of decision making time after time. I wish a few more would have a dig instead of passing out wide time after time. The manager made a career out of Hollywood passes and speculative shots, you’d think we’d try it a little more! Difficult expecting the younger generation to be entertained and get the bug watching games like today!

I’m just going to put this out there with a tin hat on but he did give us Morelos (via his choice of JJ) Candeias and Jack who are all playing a big part this season.

Morelos is going to the top, he’s only 22, full Colombian international and improving all the time. When we do sell him we better make sure we put in a decent sell on clause like the unmentionables always manage to!

For me the problem is the same as with Warburton and playing a 4-3-3 consistently without much variation. (Or 4-2-3-1) if we’re being pedantic It is a system that only works if you have the correct players and it falls apart very quickly if you don’t have an excellent No10 to support the centre forward and link the midfield with the attacking line. It may be the modern way and the preferred method from the coaching manuals but you can only piss with the cock you’ve got!

Well, he’s back! Didn’t think it would happen but he was in town with Candeias and his agent last night.

The last sentence I’ve said myself on here before. Not our worst problem by far but I’d accept a reasonable offer for him in January and strengthen elsewhere.

Much better as the right sided CB. Hesitates when the ball comes to his left side. Was noticeably better before he was switched recently.

He needs at least 2 seasons to build his team but in the same way he has criticised his players decision making he needs to take a look at his own. The back four in particular is tinkered with too much, Goldson was much more effective on the right CB slot and Katic/ Worrall were doing a job on the other. McAuley is more than useful cover but if he isn’t up to playing regularly he shouldn’t be constantly upsetting the rhythm. He has a blind spot when it comes to certain players.. Ejaria (the guy will not make it at any decent level imo) and Flanagan shouldn’t be played at left back again, he’s too one footed. Halliday showed better balance in that area today as he has done a lot recently. I’m not panicking as a strong 2nd and hopefully a Scottish Cup performance in the new year will be something to build on for this squad. + the unmentionables will drop more points. We need to try to just keep ourselves in the mix come Spring time.

McGregor, McAuley, Halliday, Jack, Arfield, Goldson all better credentials in my humble opinion. But the manager knows them so respect his judgment
