He didn't start because he clearly never showed enough on or off the pitch and that will also be the reason why we don't try and buy him. -
The corsses issue I think has to be split between the centre halfs and him.

The only thing IMO that lets Wes down is his distribution of the ball. No idea how good Shagger is now but he's not really a long term solution at 36.

He's barely had a chance but I think it's clear to see that he's a striker and nothing else. He looked like a fish out of water in that number 10 role last night. Without question he has talent but will need to be patient for his chance in the starting 11.

Earned his spot in the starting 11 with his recent performances. Potentially a very good player in the making.

Too early to judge but his lack of pace is clear to see. Don't really see any benefit of playing him over Alves.

I've been happy with his performaces so far. Work rate is good and is keen to get on the ball.

Only player that created anything. Infact, he might have been the only player who made an effective pass longer than 5 yards. It's clear that his best days are behind him but it shows where the rest of our midfielders are when he was the stand out.

Hill was a great addition to the squad but Alves is a better centre half.

I dont really think we have seen anywhere near his full potential yet . Glimpses of his passing ability but nothing on a consistant level. Hopefully now we have a more settled defensive midfield set up it will allow him more free rein goin forward.
