Sad Patterson is caught up in this, but after letting things settle down I'm moving towards just getting rid of all five of them.
For context, I wanted to give Edmundson and Jones a second chance.

I have been thinking this morning that maybe you have got this right, the Club have decided to use the 'tarrier system' of putting out an initial short statement saying an investigation is being held and leave it at that, because it seems that is all you need to do and it is never mentioned again. Thinking the same, there's no reason that we know as to why we haven't came out and said anything else.
Must mean there is something else going on, you'd hope we would get something out today so we can switch focus to Thursday otherwise this will just drag on.

Be some laugh when Rangers are next asked how their internal investigation is going and their reply was along the lines of, As you well know from other clubs internal investigations these things can take a long long time to conclude, Sometimes Forever apparently.

It's a business. These players are a commodity and Patterson & Bassey in particular will become valuable assets in the future. I suppose it is all about morals and how the board view that.
Also, I want to hear the full story before condemning them like this.

I don't think his wages will have much of a baring on what fee we can command.
Performance level domestically, in europe and at the euros combined with contract length and how important he is to us, will dictate the fee we get. All of which point to £10m+ at the very least. 
Armstrong left celtic a few years back for around 8m and he had a year remaining on his deal. It's not that unrealistic at all.

Going by media reports, Clarke has credit in the bank as I didn’t see any scathing reports that would normally and rightfully be forthcoming given two loses in a row to Slovakia and fucking Israel! 
I wonder how long that credit will last. We scrapped through the back door at the end of the day. Let’s see what the first WC qualifiers brings, but I think he’ll have credit to keep him in the role through the end of the Euros no matter how badly we do come March. 
I think he should be sacked now and give the team a chance of kicking off our WC hopes with some ambition (now the back door is shut) and at least to entertain the support in the summer despite, as expected, not being capable of progressing from the group.  

Typical Scottish perfomance tonight, promise so much but fail to deliver. Players gave their all but once again management let us down again badly. After Sundays debacle, making 8 changes in a must win game against the supposedly weakest team in our section which a win would have won our league, we throw it away against a team we have struggled to beat in the recent past.
