I reckon we have a stronger midfield but a weaker front 3. Mainly due to kents absence. My main gripe is how the squad is used. For me gerrard is way too negative. To have a middle 3 of jack/davis/kamara is just insane..not one offers any threat or drive. For most SPFL games we should be using just 1 of these guys alongside aribo and arfield. Gerrard even changes our style at places like aberdeen ffs. More long balls and a counter style instead of just turning and saying were Rangers get the fuck out our way. I hate comparing to the filth but its what we need to compete with. Not a fucking chance would they play brown/ntcham and another holding style CM that we do. Im amazed and appalled to see this clip and also a tweet on BBC sportsound of an incident between two young footballers during the Scottish cup final. The way this has been presented looks a deliberate ploy to portray the young Rangers player as some kind of cheat. All a clip like this will do is encourage abuse and bullying of the young man involved. Which it has. He has been subjected to online abuse via his twitter. This is a 16/17yr old boy for gods sake. A public broadcaster should never be trying to highlight something so trivial. Im under no illusion the BBC fully understood what would unfold after this towards the young man. If we do sell morelos for good money then a good chunk must be spent of a few quality players. 2 ball playing cm and a right winger would make a huge difference. Obv finding a replacement for alfie will be very difficult but if we have 4/5 players capable of 10+ goals its going to help. Kent and candeias just dont hit the numbers needed. We just dont have the proper players for 433 to be effective. Our central 3 are all quite tidy but basic. Very much like liverpool but to a lesser standard. So instead of wingers they have inside forwards. Salah and mane are always cutting in. Man city do have proper wingers in sane and sterling but their middle players are all amazing ball players. Psg with mbappe and nemayr are prob closer to the liverpool variant of 433 but with a better quality of middle 3. If were going to stick with wingers as part of the front 3 then we need real quality in the middle. Id prefer some inside forwards.

Candeias is the very definition of feeble minded. Pishy flicks here and there instead of taking it in and trying to hold it. Never loses a man for tav to pass down the wing for him despite having great pace. His crossing is dog shite. Just lashes it without actually trying to pick a man out.
