Pitches in this country are awful and we need to do something about it. The teams that qualify for European football should agree to ring-fence some of their earnings to fund improving the worst surfaces in the SPL. We’d make the money back by avoiding injuries and improving the quality/sellability of the overall product.

I don't think there is a poster on here who didn't want to sign a proven striker in the January transfer window.
I am very happy with the signings we did make though. They are showing early promise.
I think they will be enough to get us over the line. I trust big Phil's judgement.

Can’t believe this guy held senior coaching positions for us and Arsenal. He’s like a fucking janny covering a PE class. 

Miovski is a very good striker amd is likely destined to play at a higher level than Aberdeen/SPFL. He will cause problems to defenders much better than anyone in Scotland in the future.
Goldson could maybe have done slightly better in that one instance but imho there is no doubt whatsoever that he's still the best CB at the club by some distance. We do need to be heavily succession planning as he can't have too many more seasons left performing at his current level.

I think he’s a genuinely exceptional manager. When we were weighing up candidates, the thing that really made him stand out to me was winning back-to-back titles in a very decent competition like the Belgian Pro League with different clubs. That’s an unbelievable achievement and the strongest indicator that we had someone pretty special.

Hibs might be more likely to get behind this once Bill Foley has invested. It's hard to imagine a successful US businessman accepting a governing body that's run so incompetently and almost proactively stifling growth of the game/product. Similar story to Cormack.
