Guardiola, Mourinho, and Klopp couldn't get it done in their first seasons and they're obviously more than decent managers. Sometimes completely rebuilding a team works straight away but more often than not it's going to take more than 1 transfer window.
He's improved us in Europe, made us better defensively and recruited a team that won't need a complete overhaul again in the summer.
And I'm not saying he's perfect but for once I actually have a bit of hope again. We're a couple of players away with genuine quality from putting a proper challenge on the title. We struggled with battling in Europe and in the league, like many teams do, and without the distraction of Europe we'll start to see better performances now I feel.
And we have to keep players fit cause that's another thing that's absolutely fucking us at the moment.
