maybe they were Murty supporters on the board and wanted him to get the gig for next season but, after seeing him get sacked yesterday and then Gerrard on the TV last night they knew the games a bogey so jumped in case King was wanting to use their money to pay for Gerrard and the revolution........

and therein lies the problem...if no real investment is coming for players it makes it very difficult. Us supporters want to see the team compete for everything with a chance to win so we want better and better all the time, look how we were all flying back in March when we had the chance to be neck and neck with them and put the pressure on before it all went tits up...oh man if only Morelos had hit the net instead of the post we wouldn't be where we are now and would have continued to progress. King has been BS'ing us and taking our money and the soft loans to keep the lights on NOT investing in the squad...when is it going to change? Now, if the board turned round and said we have a x year plan, we are going to streamline the squad, restructure the backroom staff, overhaul the development squad and youth set-up and invest our funds in a team for the future but don't expect us to win the league or cups in that time although we will still be pushing for it and may actually win a few, everybody would be up in arms wanting them out. But, if it set us up to have a strong base, a home developed squad, young players to sell on as we invest in others that will strengthen the team then we could possibly be in a much stronger position than anyone else in the league. Of course our patience would be tested to the max and if the board / King continued to feed us shit then it isn't worth a fuck. But, if they do stick to it and we are onside then more investment will quickly come in.

Nope, would be the wrong message to send out to a) a new manager and b) the rest of the team, saying it is ok to fuck your manager off and undermine the club...use the money saved on their wages and let the new manager bring in his own replacements. Hopefully they get some cash by selling Wallace rather than binning him and getting f.all

I know you're spot on with that, but can you imagine how much pish will get ripped out of us if, after all this time, he walks away....everybody will put the boot in and King will have fucked us over once again then it will be statement o'clock with Traynor coming out with some spiel about him being a greedy wee scouse bastard............then we end up with Murty again for next season

what a scary fucking thought and could quite possibly be true.......ffs given how Gerrard is dragging his heels about taking the position, if media are right about all these meetings and so on, he isn't coming because he really wants to, he is thinking about himself and NOT the club...we need to have someone there because HE wants to be there and wants to make a difference, not some fucker trying get us to jump through hoops for them when they should be jumping through windows for us. He has no experience in management other than a short spell with dealing with kids...oh, wait a minute, is that the link? another fucking Murty trying to make the step up from the youth to the adult division

Not trying to suggest he was right for the job but trying to look at any positives if he got the job ffs, need a leader on the field when we don't have any just now and don't know what is happening with Wallace, the only real leader in the past season. As a manager he has nothing to show he is any better than the dross we had for this season, we would be paying stupid money on a gamble on a novice...if the money isn't spent on a decent manager and he does get the gig, then we should be looking to get more out of him........just my take

Guys, not trying to hijack this post...as a newbie I don't think I can / don't know how to, start my own post but thought I would add it on this one. If Gerrard was to take over as manager and, given his age and that he could probably compete in our league, would he be able to play as a Player Manager? Just thinking it would be a double boost for a season where we could benefit from his experience on the field, his winning attitude and that he could lead by example and be encouraging to the other players we would be looking to bring on and through the ranks. Maybe not possible but could work if he was up for it

is this legit? Or is it a wind up? If legit, fair play to them for taking the cause to them and letting them know exactly how we feel.

I suppose a 'positive' is that the fuckers who let us down on the park today will have nothing to celebrate at the POTY awards tonight, just means that whoever wins is considered less shite than the others that voted for him....god, it will be a tough call, to pick anybody who rightly deserves any award. The winners should be made to stand in the centre circle at our next home game and apologise to every single fan in the stadium AND across the globe watching it for their abject surrender this season....as others have said on previous posts...we threw it away (the season) the taigs didn't win it

two weeks ago they turned us over like we were amateurs, we were so shit that it made them look good, a week ago HIVS beat them because they were up for it and showed how to intimidate them and close them down (yes, some say it was fixed, I think they had a game plan and it came off). We had the 'template' of what we needed to do to get a result, go toe to toe and pressure them high...simples. What do we do, Go toe to toe? do we fuck, we go fucking Camel Toe and make a right cnut of ourselves..........How any of them can attend the POTY awards tonight I don't fucking know, they should be arrested for impersonation and earning money under false pretences. They should be paying the fans for their loyalty week in week out while they churn out such pish..............Change is needed from the Top down, this season is over and I don't want the same next season, it is un fucking bearable....King can either get his cash out to invest for next season and a new manager or get to fuck and let someone else do it

Have to disagree m8, Miller and his sidekicks undermined the dressing room, their team mates and the manager and must shoulder a big bit of the blame. Murty squeezed two draws out of them, got a little run going and was shafted in the dressing room by players who wanted the same old same old and were against change. The board also shafted him...just imagine how pissed you would feel if the same was happening to you in your workplace. Do need a strong manager, backed to the hilt and get rid of the shit in the club

Sad thing is they actually played more aggressively than in the Semi-final and still got fucked. Would have been a hell of a lot worse if the keeper had not made so many excellent saves......as for Cummings and Morelos, get them tae fuck, Morelos more interested in getting a few we digs in than getting a few goals in....our transfer budget for next season is well and truly blown as nobody is going to spend money buying him
