Dread reacted to beararse in Rangers statement
I can indeed.
If we assume in all probability the ball was struck between frames I can easily work out its 1/50th of a second at mid point between 2 frames (which are shot at 1/25th of a second) but I’d struggle to tell you how far the ball has travelled unless you can furnish me with the following:
the mass of Lundstrams leg,
the velocity of said leg,
the mass of the ball, and
the ‘coefficient of restitution’ (which for English Premier League balls is 0.7, SPFL balls way well differ).
The formula below will then tell you the velocity/speed of the ball.
Multiply the velocity per second by 1/50th and boom, you have your distance from boot to ball.
Without all that shite, my guess is between 12-15 inches.

I’ve honestly never seen anything like this in all my time of posting on Rangers forums.
are you his maw?!

I might have a genuine breakdown if we end up going for Beale.
I can’t stand the sight of the guy and we were fucking bottle merchants under his and Gerrards management.

I speak on behalf of all of us in thanking Gerrard Nisbet for all his efforts at the club and wishing him all the best in his future career.

Dread reacted to McEwan's Lager in Covid rumours - NOW CONFIRMED
I go to most of the games and nearly all the Lowland players are some way off first team level tbh. Yes it is helping them but even the highly rated players like Leon King have things in their game at the moment that they wouldn't get away with at first team level. Away in the heat in Armenia and a crunch game against Celtic is 100x a step up from playing East Stirling, Edinburgh University, and even Dumbarton's first team.
Imo the one player I'd have confidence in coming in and taking an opportunity would be Alex Lowry. He has a bit of confidence and swagger about him.

Dread reacted to SeparateEntityMyArse in Our Captain
Gerrard quoted us paying 3m the other day for the lad.
If we start paying 7m for a player, and I dont think we will, imo it would likely blow our whole pay structure to fuck in terms of how much salarywe pay out and the other players then looking for more for themselves.
Dont see it happening tbh and even if we raked in the dosh for AM or JT then I for one wouldnt be demanding it spent on 7m players. Our current policy seems to be working out nicely and I'd hope would succeed in replacing any quality players sold with other quality players.

Dread reacted to Rlm in Well done Alfredo
A 30 goal a season striker this day and age is so hard to come by so I think keep him. Disciplinary issues aside he seems happy theres also Defoe who is providing top quality competition. See what summer holds but unless £20million plus bid lands on Gerrard office desk then we are in a good place for the next campaign.

Dread reacted to BF1 in Glasgow Cup Final
Good character from the young gers to come back into that game 2-0 down. Hopefully our support don't get on their backs, youth football is a lot more about player development than wins.

Dread reacted to Bakbear in Queersy has a pop at broon
Brown has no class. So fuck.
We should stop whining like wee lassies and start winning games so his no class can present itself in other ways.
Scott Brown fucked with our players heads and got one sent off to affect the outcome of the game, another sent off in the tunnel affecting the selection for the next game and provoked an off the ball incident that will likely be subject to trial by TV and see one of our best players unavailable.
We can all squeal all we like about big bad broon but we are letting a bang average thug get right inside our heads instead of just ragdolling him on the pitch and showing him up for what he actually is.
Actual embarrasing the way both the players and the fans build this guy up so much.
My only regret is that he will be retired by the time we man up enough to dominate a midfield again.

Spider sense is tingling and indicating we are going to ruin that little gargoyles day. Implant a seed of doubt in every beggars mind about him.
If it's not already there that is.

Dread reacted to Bears&Reds in Gerrard : Post Match Reaction
At what successful club is there that type of manager? the PL top 6 has Sarri, Emery, Klopp, Pochetino, Solskjaer & Guardiola, not one of them will go into a changing room and start smashing shit, or calling the players all the names under the sun, Real Madrid? Barcelona? Bayern Munich? Juventus? nope. The only place you will get the odd manager who acts that way is in the lower leagues. The game has changed and its sad because a right good bollocking and smashing a few cups is exactly whats needed for some of them.

This wasn't a big match, it's the games against the half decent teams we struggle with.

Dread reacted to Tiger Shaw in 12,000 on Season Ticket Waiting List
We have the best and most iconic main stand in the UK, possibly even anywhere on the planet but you have fucking idiots on here wanting it turned into flats 🤣
Our main stand is a gem stepped in history that no modern bowl will ever come near too. Me personally I love the other three stands and the atmosphere that can be created and it would be a sore one to see them demolished but if that’s what it takes to modernise and increase capacity I wouldn’t protest too much but leave the main stand alone.
Cunts wanting to turn Ibrox into flats or demolish it and move somewhere else can fuck right off... pricks!

Dread got a reaction from CoopsLaud in Maurice Ross On Clyde Last Night
An in-his-prime Barry in the middle with Kamara and we would tear this league apart. Wouldn't need anyone else brought in. The way he used to control the game, slow it down before launching an attack, it's exactly what we're missing right now.

Dread reacted to Gman36 in Maurice Ross On Clyde Last Night
What's weird about saying Barry Ferguson in his prime would hugely improve this current squad? That sounds like a perfectly sensible thing to say.
-
Dread reacted to graeme_4 in Maurice Ross On Clyde Last Night
Kamara, or anyone else in our squad, don’t even play the same game as Barry Ferguson.
He was at a different level to anything in this league now.

Dread reacted to Thermopylae in Maurice Ross On Clyde Last Night
Best player he's played with Barry Ferguson. He said in terms of skill some of the foreign players came up to him but they didn't feel the need to do it every day which Barry did.
Biggest influence on Career John Brown. In his own words John broke me down so he could rebuild me as a winner
Best stadium played at not surprisingly Ibrox and not just because of the impressive main stand with its marble interior but because despite its large size it retains an intimacy ... so in other words the best of both worlds both great and small
He also made the point that as a Rangers player you don't realise how wound up in the pursuit of success you are until you leave the club. In his own words everywhere you go inside Ibrox there are symbols of success and it gradually motivates you in ways that only really become apparent when you have moved on.

Dread reacted to Inigo in 12,000 on Season Ticket Waiting List
They haven't said it's not possible. They may have said it's not feasible just now, but that's not the same thing.
Moving clearly isn't the only way to increase capacity. There are many options to redevelop Ibrox and virtually nobody will accept leaving.

Dread reacted to 35 Yard Dangerman in We want Dembele money for Morelos - Robertson
He is not the finished article yet. Love him to bits. He has completely won me over after I had some serious doubts about his finishing/mentality etc last season.
However, 15m or thereabouts is what we will get in my opinion.
He suits the way we play, he may not find himself in this position elsewhere where a team will more than likely look to adjust his game for them.
Stay another season ya wee madman. I'm not ready for you to leave yet.
