I think we've done enough to get through the CL qualifier. How we perform in that will give an indication of how the play off round will go. Also by that time the players whose future is currently unknown should be settled. Time will tell, and things might change, but as it stands I think we might come up short in the CL play offs.

In terms of competetive domestic games and CL qualifiers I think it literally is. They won't drop many points and we need CL group stages. The cups are must win or you're out, and although they don't carry the same importance as the league we want to win them. So as I see it every game IS must win

I saw "they" won 7-0 last night and thought "so what they were playing nobodies" Then I read in the papers that they did it without about 14 first team regulars and got a bit despondant as they seem to have quality in depth. But as your post shows we also have quality in depth. There's no point in making signings for the sake of it. If we can't find players who are, or could be better than the second group you list then, what's the point? Obviously if any of the first group go they will have to be replaced with equaly good or better players. But that hasn't happened yet.

We may well have already done our best bit of business in getting Goldson to sign on. There will be more activity, but too much uncertainty at the momment to just wade in.

Winning the league would have been more of a success, but it was still a success. Ok it's galling that they got the CL spot and the funds that go with it, but they'll need to spend half of that just to stay still. Also they're not likely to get any big fees for outgoings this year unlike last. We have the Europa earnings players that will bring in decent funds. And we still might make the CL.

I think Greegs is finished however the one bit of doubt I have is Craig Gordon. Ok it was last season when he was a bit younger but I think celtic must regret not keeping him.

I can see this going to extra time so I wouldn't start either Roofe or Ramsey. We did ok yesterday without them, and I dont see either of them lasting the 120 after an injury so I would bring them on around 60/65 mins. Still time to influence the game, and we'd have them for the ET and pens.
