All during his playing career ... even against us his childhood team of choice .... he showed class ... determination and a will to win combined with a sportsmanship that is rare today.
Then into management with the likes of Hibs and Motherwell ... he continued with a work ethic and very little in the way of financial strength that produced the goods for these two teams also.
He had what you would call a bit of a Midas touch .... by being able to turn shit into gold ..... which he did with astonishing results when he eventually joined us.
Definitely would have been on a platform of his own if he had had the war chest some of our other managers were able to command.

My wee mum saw him coming out the hotel she worked at when he was Rangers manager, she said hello to him and he stopped, asked her how she was doing and spent the next 15 minutes talking about Rangers with her.

Yeah,  the masters is my favourite major now, just love it. Of course in golf any number of players can win any title, but Scottie is hitting his best form at the perfect time and will be the force to beat in this one for sure. I have been putting my money on Schauffele for the last few tournaments without any joy. Did the same thing with Fowler and Mcllroy for years now with disappointment constantly. Can't see past Scheffler for this one though. 

If we beat Dundee Wednesday I think I will be feeling positive again.

Just back from the game. Mixed fuckin feelings. Relieved we didn’t lose but fuckin gutted we didn’t win.  First half we were awful and Tav couldn’t cope with that fucker on the wing. The game could have been over at ht. Second half we showed some fight and never gave up. Fuckin criminal to  concede their third. I thought the starting 11 was wrong. Well done Matondo for that great goal and well done Rangers for not giving up
