  1. only shock here is its only 2
  2. That clowns "see you in May" commenst should have been hanging from the picture of the King in the dressing room, with these players playing every game like it was the biggest match of their lives to ram it right down his fucking throat. Instead, we see slumped shoulders, basic errors and the same tired old excuses at the end of matches.
  3. Should have been a legacy defining season for him, but when we needed him to find his best form, like Goldson and Lundstram, it has fallen off a cliff.
  4. yep, no chance. these players can't play under pressure. even last week, we were 2 down before we started to play. This season, we only started when Clement came in, and most of us had already written the league off. All the evidence points to these players losing at their dump, with damage done in the first half, and then find our form again when we are 6 or 8 points behind. Its only hope that we can do something, not backed up by what we are seeing on the pitch.
  5. sadly most of them don't know whats needed to play for a club of our size and expectation, and it shows. small club mentality, touchy over criticism, telling the fans to calm down while on the park, looking shell shocked that every team plays against them like its a cup final. reeks.
  6. Cringeworthy comments against the might of Ross COunty at Dingwall when you are 1-0 up. And lets be honest, the 'moral victory' stuff last week was shite as well. The sort of shite I thought we had done away with getting rid of the used car salesman.
  7. Barisic has been an absolute disgrace btw and shouldn't be in a squad ever again. The likes of Goram, Ferguson & Brown would likely be swinging punches at him in the dressing room
  8. Starting to feel like a broken record but amazed he doesn't play Sterling to get proper control of the midfield each game. Its no secret over the years we've looked more in contorl of matches when we had a fit/in form Jack (ages ago I know). There's two ways to dominate midfield: either you have great ball players like Davis, or you need to set yourself up to win battles, turnovers and retain possession. It's not our only fault, but we wouldn't leak as many goals in my mind if we had midfielders that could win their duels. We're far too open in there. Not ideal when you have a shite back 4.
  9. No amount of fans saying "no surrender" will change the face that our players surrender domestically in the face of proper pressure.
  10. The sad reality is that 'stopping the ten' has been our primary ethos for the last decade and it shows. We've lost our regular winning culture and mentality, with players that aren't capable of taking the responsibility to step up and win regular league titles. We kid ourselves on in truth, when we've seen it time and time again. We're a cup team, at best, capable of turning it on and off. Playing for Rangers, you shld feel expectant to win Old Firm matches and titles, not only turn up when its over and theres no pressure. I back the manager but we need to root out the culture, and sadly, that starts with our senior players and 'leaders'. Thats the price of leadership, if you don't deliver, you are moved on.
  11. listening to the glee in that cunt McFaddens voice is almost as frustrating as the performance
  12. Utterly pathetic. So fucking easy to play against. You can't win leagues leaking goals this easily.
  13. I hate to say it, but if we have a first half like that at their dump, we'll be goals down. The defence sleeping. No midfield protection. Losing far too many duels all over the park. We really need Tav, Goldson, Lundstram to find their best form of the season, not their worst.
  14. Huge part of their press which is effective against us. Would improve our chances of winning there IMO if he is out.
  15. Dundee are delighted to report the pitch is playable if the game was to go ahead now, which it isn't, so we will inspect the pitch around the time the match is actually due to go ahead and let you know. Happy travelling.
  16. I actually think the arrogant overconfidence coming from them about the next Old Firm is a positive for us. They are already acting as if it is a formality. If we pick the right team and grab an early goal we can win, and my God, how sweet it would be to watch 60k of their fans witness it.
  17. Ironically the team started as poorly on Sunday as this thread did.
  18. I'm no fan of referees/officials in this country, but given all the controversy I think they handled the game pretty well. The problem with Var is that when you see contact when the image is frozen you have to give it. The fact that it was been deemed to go to var also already creates doubt in the referees mind, thats human nature. Their logic makes no sense: if the referee was a cheat, why would his initial reaction be to book a Rangers player for diving and deem no pen?
  19. Was a massive disappointment. We all expected him to do better. But can add him to the long list of players that look like they are spooked by the intensity of the fixture. Completely baffles me watching our players against them, as if they are spooked/surprised by their intense high press. Its the one thing you must know is coming against their players for the last 2 years. Take less touches, be direct when you need to. Its as if we still try and play the old Gerrard/Beale tactics against them, when we no longer have the players to keep the ball in tight areas and midfield, and when they now play completely differently with high pressing players.
  20. My biggest concern is how easily we are conceding bad goals atm. The first half was a disaster, so we did well to salvage something. If we had lost that the game was up. But until we stop leaking goals I sadly have low confidence we'll win all the remaining away games we have. Sterling in midfield, Ridvan back, and Goldson finding some sort of form again would be a start.
  21. He could win the league for us. The difference having his pace and power in our final third is so noticable.
  22. These games are always won and lost in the middle of the park. I'd love Sterling in there. Dowell coming on and playing bright, you could see the difference. We need to make sure we dominate duels and battles in there - we were far too light weight. Not the only probelm, but a big one, we need to go and dominate the centre of the park, give cover to our leaky defence, and set the tone from winning 50/50 battles
  23. Joking aside, that sounds fucking brutal btw, but did make me think of this.
