*****The Official Rangers vs Kilmarnock Match Thread*****
CoplandRoad83 replied to MacBoyd's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Won a header and maybe two corners so that makes him the most talented striker we have at the club IMO. -
Knowing our luck, we might have picked up another in jury tonight in those conditions. It is what it is. Onwards we march. We are the form team in the league and now have extra time to prepare for our biggest game of the season so far. The job remains the same: win at their midden and we're in a fantastic position.

Expect it will be an ugly ground out win, and I'd be happy with that. All about maximum points going into the 30th. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

I honestly can't believe how well he has done with this group of players. Fucking miles above Beale. -
Rather than spend 4 or 5 million on these types of players, the bigger question is why our scouting system seems unable to find them (or players of that quality and potential) when they are available for much cheaper.

Some laugh after signing Raskin, Dowell, Cifuentes that we still need a new midfield. And after signing Dessers, Lammers, Danilo we still need a striker. And after signing Ridvan we still need a new left back. And after Souttar, Davies and Balogun we still need a CB.- 1,480 replies

Thing that gives me hope is the confidence I have in our manager. He's been getting a tune out a bunch of duds.
-
You can tell what's coming in the first 10, 15 minutes of these games. The nerves and hesitation written all over the faces of our key players.
-
I doubt there will be any ex playing football pundit in the world who has played as few competitive matches as Michael Stewart has in his career.
-
Signing him and the wee number 10 up front for France should be our January transfer window priorities IMO

From terrorising Dortmund in Europa knock outs to battling it out in a relegation dogfight with Rotherham and Huddersfiled in space of a few year. Players would be best place to seize the opportunity they have at our club.

Mate I dont think theres a person on here that wouldn't prefer trophies over profit, just think its good that we've bought a player at right age with sell on value to keep money coming in to improve the team in future when time comes. We've not been great at that
-
There might already be a thread, but he is a quality player. Still getting up to speed. I think he is as good a striker as we have had in years. I know he misses chances but he is always a threat. Movement amazing, creates things out of nothing. Given his age, and his capacity to improve I'm delighted with the boy. And he loves it, infectious. I think he can do a great job and make us profit in years.

Instant threat. Some talent. We need this

Lets be honest, none of us thought the big man would do as well as he has done with this squad. Deserves every bit of praise, but crucially, he looks like he doesnt want it and its all about day to day and getting trophies. I think we might have a manager thats a level above what we've had for many a year. Time will tell, but early signs are miles ahead of where I thought we might be. -
Wrong Rangers tops, now STAYC are coming to Ibrox.

Kim Jong-Il's on the wall. (I know they are South Korea but fuck it). -
I'll be wearing black socks probably TBH.

Over the piece he's been a good player for us, for me peaked in early Gerrard era and we should have had brought in a replacement and phased him out as a squad player or let go around 2 years ago. But I've always liked him.

I dont think being moved around position and different systems on top of an injury have helped him. But the team is more important, and as long as we keep winning he'll need to get his head down and make the most of opportunities when he gets them. He really needs to stop making silly challenges that risks him getting booked or sent off. Today was soft but he is on that line far too much
