Coulibaly had a good game today despite what many are saying. No matter what he does most fans will be complaining even if he scores 3 goals. The goalkeeper made a huge mistake and cost the team 2pts. The Rangers dominated the entire game but it's hard to play when the opposing team isn't. Coulibaly had a good game, he brought some energy offensively and defensively. I think with few more games this midfield can be very strong.

I think once again Coulibaly failed to establish himself in a team for a long term. He has talent but he is just too weak and inconsistent to play at a high level. I like him and want him to succeed, maybe he will find a coach who can help him build the confidence and become the destroyer he can be. In some games he is really impressive but he needs too much assistance.

He is excellent but he needs another guy next to him. I am sure he will perform better with a more central attacking player next to him. Alfredo doesn't stay in the box that's the problem.

the lack of a number 10 in the team is not his fault he is doing the job of a number 8. Rangers dominated in the midfield the issue comes with the 4 positions up front. You need a number 9 along morelos and 2 players who can cross and score. I think Morelos can be a 9.5 or a 10 for the team with somebody who can hold the ball upfront. Coulibaly is doing his job and has nothing to do we the lack of offensive plays. Even is passing is not bad, he cleared many balls and had few very good runs who should have led to goals if you have a player in the box. Morelos is playing to low to be a threat.

the TV commentators don't seem to think that. They praised him few times. It's not coulibaly's fault if the team doesn't have a playmaker and a number 9. Morelos is a supporting stricker but he is not a 9. You need wingers who can score. Rangers had many opportunities to score and they ended up losing 2 points. Coulibaly had a good game, he brings some physical presence in the team, even is passing is not as bad as you are claiming, he is not a 10. The team has no offensive options and this has nothing to do with him.

There's something against Coulibaly in this forum. I watched the game and he was pretty good. Had few good runs and didn't lose as many balls as you are claiming (sometimes he needs to clear the ball right!!!). The team lacks offensive players to finish actions. Except Morelos nobody is capable of scoring that's not Coulibaly's fault. He is playing well for a box to box. He get few free kicks, has a good physical presence, does few rushes a games...he could have score on a header....Maybe we are not watching the same games or maybe you guys have some other issues with him but your comments are totally deferent from what is shown on the soccer field.

I think he had another good game tonight. He is improving. Keep supporting him he only needs to feel the love to get his confidence back.

I think Coulibaly has a massive potential but he is too weak mentally. At times he plays really well then....after a bad performance he just lose confidence and becomes a poor player. I think SG likes him and might be the coach who can help him gain consistency and use is full potential.

I'm not sure why you guys don't believe me. I have nothing to hide. I'm giving information on your player you should appreciate that. I will watch tomorrow game if he plays and see if he is that bad. I was just giving you my honest opinion. He had a good game in he Europa league and a majority of sport news websites gave him a pretty good rating (I don't usually trust those websites) I watched the game and I think the Rangers were the better team, Coulibaly was present had few good runs and won few balls. I don't recall him losing many balls, obviously he played high on the field so on some occasions he had to try things and lost possession, he won a lot of free kicks for the team....He had a good game, I'm sorry but you guys had to admit that.

I agree. I don't think he can become a great player. Way too inconsistent. He has power and descent dribbling skills but can't build up on it because he can't hold pressure. You will see him (if he says) being impressive in frendly games or at the end of the season when there's no pressure on the team (no longer competing for anything).

He has a good game. He had a great presence and had few good runs. His problem is confidence. When he has a bad game he just can't get over it. This situation is very similar to last year. I thought he would be a perfect fit here with the love of the fans but I see that you guys seem to be pulling him down instead of lifting his spirit which is vey unfortunate. Reading your comments you feel like he was so bad on the field when he was one of your best players. Your team played really well but your comments re not realistic some times....you are not Barcelona.

I'm from Mali but I live in the US. Believe it or not I work in technology. Yes we do have internet in Mali. I agree Lassana is not playing well but he played well last week. The team actually played pretty well. If they had scored on that corner kick it would have changed the game. Soccer is 50% luck, you can't control everything. I think Lassana can be a good player if he builds more confidence in his abilities. what happened to him this season is exactly what happened to him last year. He finished the season pretty well but I guess he was excited by the opportunity to come here otherwise I'm pretty sure the coach wanted him to stay. I don't know if he can bounce back but I hope he will.

Hello, I am a fan from Mali. I've been reading your post for a while and I finally decided to watch a Game of Lassana to see if he was really as bad as you guys are describing him. Frankly he was one of the best in Autria. The team clearly lost control of the game when he was taken off. Lassana has never been a consistent player. He is too weak mentaly and quickly lose is confidence. Same thing happened to him last year. He was excellent for 2-3 months than stopped performing. Spend months on the bench and the reserve team He came back, played 20min and finished with a goal and an assist and started being excellent again. I think he need a goal or something to build up his confidence.
