simplythebest 11,453
The whole team could not keep the ball, granted miller wasn't that great but the whole team struggled to keep the ball. We were awful today, although Smith's negative tactics don't help. I'm just waiting to see 4-5-1 against Celtic, playing for a draw again even though it's a must win. jbm26896 995
boyd and velicka should play next week, they are doing fine they might no impress some people on here, but winning is all that matters, 6 in a row , so why change it

Muff 245
I think Wally will play McCulloch, whether it's in the middle or on the left. :alexander: :whittaker: :weir: :bougherra: :papac: :mcculloch: :davis: :edu: :mendes: :lafferty: :miller: Or something like this. Stevie Smith should be nowhere near the starting 11.
simplythebest 11,453
Unusually i'm convinced Boyd will start this match, Smith seems too happy with him at the moment to drop him. Hopefully he doesn't play him as a lone striker.
GeneralCartmanLee 313
Same team as sunday for me except the return of boogie and Papac. Lafferty and Miller to come off the bench as the game progresses. i would be very dissapointed to see a 4-5-1, we simply must, and will, win this game. Amac9 2,060
Wally simply has to get the formation and personel right in this match. That means no McCulloch, Dailly, S.Smith and no Boyd AND Velicka!

As Davis comes in centrally alot we need someone like whittaker who can offer something down the right. FTP

Amac9 2,060
I just have this feeling that Walter will go with a similar team that started the CIS cup final This game really is make or break IMO.
Muff 245
If we can't beat Celtc at Ibrox then we don't deserve the league. I think it will be a draw, which would be a shite result. We have to win as far as I'm concerned.
Danny 9
Quite surprised that so few if any have Smith in their team - been an intergral part of the winning streak recently.
nvager 498
We have a 30 goal striker and a good few of you want to drop him. Sheer madness. Boyd will play. I understand a lot of people think Velicka and Boyd are too similar. Nevertheless the goals are flowing. I would stick with it. If I made a change anywhere it would be Lafferty for Velicka and maybe Beasley for Smith. I think Walter will start McCulloch for Smith, but not at all sure. Papac should play if fit. My only concern is Walter plays Miller up front on his own. That would be sad as anytime we have done that there have been ZERO goals scored and we must win this game. I hope Walter goes for the win and does not play not to lose.

Muff 245
Bar a few good deliveries, Stevie Smith has been pish. His positioning, tackling, and, constant fouling has been awful, and, his understanding with Papac, who looks like being fit, is pretty poor.
