ScottBF2 3,540
Tackle wasn't as bad as was made out, think it was just the fact that Ramsey was planted when Shawcross came in.
BlueSuedeSambas 53,775
Shit news. The only positive that comes out of it is thay at 19 he has plenty of time to make a full recovery
mmrfc1873 48
Henrick Larsson came back from a similar leg break, take some serious mental strenth to do so, lets hope young Ramsey can do the same.
Skol 401
It's a red card. Of course it is.It's not a violent challenge or with intent, but it's dangerous. He's thundering through the guy, takes a wild swing for the ball and catches Ramsey high on his leg. There was clearly no intention from Shawcross to hurt Ramsey but it was clumsy and dangerous play, that merits a red card.Feel sorry for Shawcross as he looked distraught but my heart really goes out to Ramsey. That's a horrific break and we'll just have to wait and see how bad it is. Some breaks, players just can't back from. Fingers crossed it's fixable. ofb1988 61
just cause his leg broke does not mean he should walkit was 50/50 imo, ramsey was quick, bit slower the cunt would be walkingas sumone said before its the intent not the outcomedoesnt take much to break a bone

pcbear 10,913
MOTD showed what happened?yeah, they showed replays and a slow motion different angle replay that they froze at the point of contactfor what its worth, ramseys foot seemed already bent over just as shawcross hits himThat was something i spotted as well, as if his studs were caught in the turf weakening his stance, i hope he makes a full recovery because he is a special talent.I thought Wengers outburst was shocking ,he has been in the game long enough to keep his own council and wait till the heats off before commenting, all that done was provoke a response from Tony Pulis basically telling Wenger to shut the fuck up "you know nothing about my player"It was a bad tackle, but imo no way malicious, up and down the country there were probably 100 tackles worse than that with no serious injuries.I wish AR a full and speedy recovery but Shawcross should not beat himself up about it. papaguy51 912
The ref told a Stoke radio station that he only sent Shawcross off because Ramsey's leg was broken.I don't think it was a red card challenge, but Shawcross would have been taken off instantly anyway had he not been sent off.Doing that to a fellow professional and not actually meaning to must be an awful feeling. rangers4eva 12
Anyone else wondering what Vermalean and Campbell where doing in stokes box for the third goal. 2-1 up in stoppage time and you're two centre backs are in the opponents box
