I am very excited about this signing, maybe because of the lack of signings, or the sheer suprise of it, but more than ever, to see a winger at Ibrox again. For too long have we been trying to fill that space with players that just aren't ment to play there, Adam, Lafferty, Smith (who did not bad)..

Then theres Beasley :anguish:

FINALLY could we have solved the problem? Do the pieces of the puzzle finally fit? :D

MON THE ROTHEN!!

Although I hope he does, I don't think we will see Rothen playing as a winger as such.

I think he'll be asked to get hang on the left hand side and whip the ball in nice and early much like Smith was doing towards the end of last season.

God, I hope this is true. Would be great news! :D

Posted this in the other Rothen thread, sweet passing :D

Can't watch video just now McB, I'm on near dial-up speed internet here :anguish:

I'm excited about this signing though, can't wait to see him in a Rangers top! :D

It's weird to think that even though we're though to have a left winger problem, we have DaMarcus Beasley and Jerome Rothen

Even if Beasley stays, I doubt he will get any sort of look in this season.

I mean just on name and reputation - two good wingers to have.

Pity that you need to take form into account :anguish:

Absolutely.

He's never going to be a touchline-hugger, I expect to see him play eight or nine yards inside.
