Had been trying to find a good picture of a group raising their glasses to someone when googling for that reason. Nothing came up that good.

Wanted to have a nice picture toasting to Numan. Yeah, he will always be on my mind for a while, and he will be greatly missed.

cstamom, I realized that his March 10 email was when you read his last words.

Cheerio, Numan.

Although this thread from Numan from the General Sports and Football is quite short, this is the one of the threads I remember the most:

http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=138590&st=0&p=1057617277&fromsearch=1entry1057617277

It was interesting that he started the thread by saying that cricket is named from an insect. :)

I remember talking to him a few months ago about Bambi's mam being killed in Bambi, and Mufasa dying in Lion King

Quite fitting that possibly the last Rangers game he saw, was the St Mirren final.

Copied from e-mails are some of the times he was on RR. I know there were other times tas well. Just listen for Stewart from Cumbernald and in (one not sure if it was on one of these) his dog Glen barked to voice his comment on the related issue which cause a good laugh.

p.s....did it again..1st caller on 2nd feb...real radio...AND I MADE SENSE

god..i did it again..1st caller Real Radio 8th feb..someone stop me

i was on again on the 10th,,about 7.30..my wee Connor"s birthday.,.it had to be done...

Wow. Only just heard about this off landoso on Facebook. It's going to be strange coming on here and not having about 10 random threads of his in the General Discussion. R.I.P NN, we'll miss you :(

I never had many dealings wi the man but did enjoy his knack of turning the debate around leaving you thinkinh 'WTF?'

A lot of people (not least on RM) are affected by his passing and a lot can think of at least one occasion where he made them laugh

That's a fair legacy for anyone. You live on in those you touched in life.

Numansnewman is a RM Legend. That can't ever be taken away

Rest in Peace Stewart. You will be sadly missed.

I always thought he was a great poster. He revelled in the 'old man' stereotype which wound up the younger posters in a fun way.

I'll miss his postings certainly, and hope he's watching down on the team from above.

No a few of my mates did...Have contacted them to try and get a few tales etc...I think he had already had to give up his season ticket etc by the time I joined the RSC.
