Cant see Brazil winning it.

OK they have the organization, but they lack the creative flair of the past.

Spain have the organization and the flair.

Also Luis Fabiano couldn't lace Villa or Torres boots.

Yeh, he's only scored 25 goals in 36 caps for Brazil.

£20 Brazil each way 9/2 9/4 = £67.50

£5 Uruguay Group A winners= £19

£2 Uruguay/Mexico Group A= £28

£5 Brazil/Spain final= £45

£4 Brazil, Spain, Germany, England semi's= £120

£3 Villa top scorer £24

That's my spread, from WIlliam Hill. £39 total stake, possible returns of £303....thoughts?

I like it, a mixture of obvious and not so obvious ones.

Not put anything on yet, but I quite fancy Germany if they have decent odds. No big name players really this year, just a strong unit and I think it might work for them.

Uruguay to win Group A will be tempting as well. I'll need to have a closer look some time.

That's not really the point. You were arguing that Brazil won't win it because Fabiano couldn't lace Torres and Villas boots, yet he has a better scoring record than both of them so don't really see your reasoning.
